Learning procedures: Step1 Lead-in
1.review the country Tobby visited ( Morocco, Kenya and Tanzania). Today we will continue to explore the world. Our destination today is Egypt.

1.When we refer to Egypt, what will you think about? Students’ answer: Mummy, Pyramid, Dessert Extended knowledge:
1.Do you know how to make a mummy?
Show students the video of how to make a mummy.
2. Then ask the students what’s the point of making the mummy?
Eternal life was the main focus of all Ancient Egyptians. They wanted to preserve the body forever. Egyptian culture believed the body was home in the afterlife , without the body, it would be condemned to eternal wandering.
