Teaching Objectives
At the end of this part, students will be able to 1.master more words related to color; 2.talk about the color of different things;
3.apply what they have mastered into practice, perform the dialogue they made by themselves;
4.open their vision to know more about the culture of colors. Step 1: Warm-up
Teacher does a magic trick. She hold a scarf. Then the teacher grasp something in the air, and blow it. Next shake the scarf. The scarf turns into different colours.
设计意图:用魔术的形式,把一条黑色丝巾变成彩色的,激发学生强烈的兴趣。在一片惊呼和好奇声中顺利引入今天的话题——颜色。 Step2: Presentation 1.Role play.
The teacher is going to be Snow White and students are going to be knights to protect Snow White. Students will face a lot of difficulties and then help Snow White to build a safe house.
设计意图:让学生以一种做游戏的方式来进行新内容的学习,避免枯燥。
2. Learn new words and key language.
Teacher teaches new words and key language. Then ask students to do the quick response.
设计意图:在快速反应环节中,学生能快速检测自己对于新单词的账务情况。此环节比拼单词熟练度和反应力,气氛很激烈,学生很喜欢。 Step3: Suspension 1. Colour Game
Teacher asks students to speak out the colour of some Chinese colour words.
设计意图:此环节是快速反应的升级版,进一步帮助学生巩固色彩词汇。
2. Pair-work & Group-work
Teacher asks students to talk about the color of their own things with their partner or in their group.
设计意图:此环节让学生们开始真正用词,开始造句,去自创情境,去接地气的谈论自己所属物品的颜色。同时,学生可以根据自己的实际英语水平选择展示形式。学生可以师徒结对,两两对话,互帮互助。学生也可以选择小组展示,团队协作,共同创设情境,进行口语展示。 Step4: Climax
Sing the song & Build the house
1. Teacher asks students to listen to the song and chant.
设计意图:通过播放有关颜色的歌曲,让学生们辨认颜色,通过学习和演唱这首优美的歌曲,进一步帮助学生巩固颜色词汇。
2. Use the cards of furniture to build a house in a group and introduce the house.
