本节课是第七单元话题一的第一课时,将要学习关于如何开办美食节帮助Craig Kielburger筹集资金,最后分配筹备任务。主要活动是根据1a教学生画思维导图并用宾语从句复述。通过Kangkang等四人从讨论Craig Kielburger及其创办的Free the Children开始,决定开办美食节帮助Craig Kielburger筹集资金,最后分配筹备任务。在这个对话中,学习征求意见,如:Shall we…? When and where shall we…? 赞美等表达法,如:Good! Great! Good idea! 等;还通过听与本课内容相关的听力练习训练学生听对话获取信息的能力,同时帮助学生理解对话大意和细节信息;同时出现了本单元的重点语法宾语从句中that引导的宾语从句。通过Kangkang与Maria的视频对话的真实场景,从而训练宾语从句的陈述句句型。小组讨论帮助学生如何制定帮助别人的计划,以及如何运用宾语从句和自己绘制的思维导图做一个简单的报告。
