Instruction of Teaching Design
The main line of teaching for this lesson is “Prepare for a festival”, which is based on the reason for preparing the food festival (Reason), time (When), place (Where), and how to prepare a food festival (How) for functional points. The key points are that most students can understand the object clauses and are able to use the object clauses flexibly; The difficulties are how to use the object clauses to describe the preparation of the food festival expertly. In this lesson, the listening material of 1a is used as the main body for teaching design which is divided into three parts. Also, the mind-map of this lesson is formed in the process of extracting information from these listening material.Then set up the task to make the students retell the chart step by step. After the practicing, lead the students to summarize the structure of the object clauses. Then guide the students to discuss with groups and come up with more ways for preparing food festivals. Thus achieve the improvement of thinking quality. Finally, let students use the object clauses and the mind-map to describe the preparation of the food festival expertly.
