It is easy to get to school.
But for the students in one small village in china, it is difficult. There is a very big river between their school and village.
Many of the students and villagers never leave the village. Can their dream come true? Ability goals
Improve Ssreading ability . Moral goals
Ss learn to cherish,to love,to be thankful and try to help others. Improve Ss’awareness of teamwork.

Enable students to understand the article by some kinds of reading skills such as scanning ,skimming.etc.It’s hard for students to distinguish the usages of like when it’s come to different context .

Second, Let the students read through the first paragraph. And then pick students randomly to answer three questions. lead students to read the questions and try to solve them by themselves .
Third ,let the students read the second paragraph to themselves and enjoy reading with emotion. And then discuss two questions in group.
Let students feel the charming of English . have them discuss to solve problems in group.
Finally, let the students read the last paragraph aloud together and do a fill-in exercise.
