2学情分析
八年级的学生通过初中阶段一年的系统学习,已经有了有一定的英语基础,他们正从听说阶段逐渐向读写阶段过渡,他们的抽象思维能力较弱,但形象思维能力较强。本节课是一节阅读课,主要介绍传统节日。我针对学生的特点,用传统节日的食物、活动等图片调动学生的积极性,同时通过形式多样的活动来降低学生阅读的难度,让他们在真实的语言情境中使用英语。此外,因自身的差异,学生的英语水平存在一定的差距,所以在课堂上,我根据内容的难易程度,把参与的机会留给各层次的学生,让他们都能获得成功的体验,以此激发他们学习英语的兴趣。

Read Paragraph One and answer five question, learn the new words in the first part: traveler, England.

Ⅰ.What is the main dish of the Thanksgiving meal? Well, do you like turkey? Can you make a turkey dinner?
