一、教材分析:
本单元的话题贴近学生生活,学生通过运用谈论生日话题的句型When is
your/his/her/Alice’s birthday ?My/His/her birthday is on May 2nd 来学习一年中的十二个月份及1-31的序数词。教学话题从谈论生日到谈论“某项活动或事件的日期”,这些丰富的教学话题,极大地激发了学生学习兴趣,拓展了学生的知识视野。本节课是SectionB的写作练习课,目的是使学生在前面听、说、读的基础上,尝试简单的写作输出。3a是一个控制性写作练习,该活动通过让学生补全便条,帮助他们整体把握便条的格式,并复习相关词汇,为3b的独立写作做准备。3b让学生依照3a的格式及3b中的问题给朋友写一则便条。 二、学情分析
在本写作课时之前,学生已经学习过了一年十二个月及1-31的序数词形式,及活动安排句型We have…on…。对于本课时的学习,大部分学生已经有了一定的学习基础。 三、教学目标:
1. 复习序数词的构成规则,并能运用序数词来正确表达日期。
2. 了解一些常见节日的日期,并能熟练地询问及回答一些常见节日的日期。 3. 练习写作便条,邀请朋友参加自己(学校)的某项活动。 四、教学重难点 1. 教学重点:
1)了解一些常见节日的日期,并能熟练地询问及回答一些常见节日的日期。 2)练习写作便条,邀请朋友参加自己(学校)的某项活动。 2. 教学难点:
通过不同形式的写作训练来练习写作便条,指导学生能熟练地写作便条来邀请朋友参加自己(学校)的某项活动。 五、教学过程
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision
1. Greet the Ss as usual. Check the homework.
2. Review the school activities. Let some Ss say all the school activities they know. S1: basketball game, volleyball game, soccer game, tennis game, school trip, art festival…
S2: School Day, Sports Day, English Day, book sale, English test, party… 3. Then let some Ss report what activities they like and dislike. (Tell Ss to use the sentence structure: I like …, but I don't like…)
S1: I like basketball game, volleyball game and soccer game, but I don't like English Day, book sale, English test or party.
S2: I like tennis game, school trip and art festival, but I don't like Sports Day, English Day or book sale.
4. Ask and answer about the activities in your school like this? S1: Do you have a soccer game? S2: Yes, we do. S1: When is it? S2: It's on October 28th.
