Several Ss take turns to choose some

Step 2 Revision
1. Ask Ss how people usually spend their
birthdays. Then show pictures about
different parties.

“activities” and the new phrases about school activities in P47 2a. 1. Learn “Sports Day” and answer T’s
questions.
2. Look at pictures and compete to say out the new phrases about school activities. Then look at Chinese and revise the phrases and read together. 3. Work in groups and talk about the activities they have at school and what they can do. Then get one or two group leaders to introduce.
设计意图:师生互动,读前阶段是英语阅读教学的引入阶段,此时的主要教学目的是对文章进行合理的导入,为学生做好情感、话题和语言上的准备。通过师生之间的对话促进学生从已有认知向新的认知迁移,通过图片对新活动词汇的习得和对活动的初步谈论有效地帮助学生减少阅读障碍,为学生顺利进入文本情境做好铺垫。
