In the previous lessons of this unit, students learned to talk about their age, height and weight; And they have learnt to compare their height and weight
with others. In this lesson, they will be learning that there are six ways of
changing adjectives into their comparatives, and they will make a poster about themselves and their friend.

Ss form groups of four and on their board write three words for each of he six ways.

Model the expected writing for later
T shows the writing on ppt about Linda and Sumi.
T checks comp by Ss answering three questions (height, age and weight) about Linda and Sumi by writing A or B on their boards.

Get the information about their partner for their writing T elicits questions about how to ask about someone’s age, weight and height. Ss write the correct questions on their board. Hold them up and T checks.If necessary, T models on board.

Compare their and friend’s age, weight and height.
T shows Ss writing paper and explains how to organize their writing into three paragraphs
Ss write about themselves first in three sentences, then their friend in three sentences, too. Then compare each other in two sentences.
