【教学目标】
语言知识：1.能够听懂、会说句型: Kangaroos live in Australia. Kangaroos eat grass and
leaves. They drink water.
2.能够听说读写单词：back leaves
语言技能：能够运用Where do they live? What do they eat/ drink?句型进行问答，谈论
动物的习性。
学习策略：注意倾听、观察、比较、讨论、积极地与他人合作，共同完成任务。
情感态度：培养学生乐于参与英语交流活动和树立学生喜爱动物、热爱生活的生活态度。 文化意识：了解澳大利亚动物kangaroo的生活习性。 【学情分析】
四年级的学生活泼好动、思维活跃、想象力丰富，对于本模块关于澳洲袋鼠和考拉等动 物的学习中表现出强烈的兴趣。之前已经学习过“一般现在时”，但是感知、理解新语言项 目并灵活运用与实践的能力还不强，需要教师遵循趣味性、活动性、运用性相结合教学的原则，运用现代化教学手段，通过SMART课件营造互动课堂，创建多个以实际生活为情境的层次性练习来提升学生的综合语用能力，引领学生进一步谈论“动物习性”的话题。 【设计理念】
新课程理念倡导互动的课堂教学模式，学生进行自主、探究、合作、开放性的学习。本课按照学生的学习情感发展为主线来组织教学，教学中通过SMART白板呈现大量生动、形象的语言信息材料，设计有浅入深、引人入境的教学活动，在活动中开始，在情景中操练，在运用中创新，强化学生语言知识，提高语用能力。变被动输入学习为主动探究学习，充分地发挥了学生学习过程中的自主性和创造性。同时注重引导孩子们树立正确学习和生活观念，教学实现语言能力与学习情感同步发展。 【教学重、难点】
教学重点：用一般现在时描述动物的习性
教学难点：单词grass和leaf的单复数变化；单词back的音、形、义 【教具准备】多媒体课件，动物卡片，学生学习任务单 【教学活动】
【环节一】Warming up 情境导入 话题交流 a. 热身活动:做动作，唱歌曲WHY OH WHY?
T: This girl is looking at the sky. Why is she looking at the sky? S1: Because She lost her kangaroo kite. b. 自由谈论:复习Why„? Because„句式
T: In Unit One Lingling asks Amy: Why do you like Australia?
S2: Because they love Australian animals.（koala、kangaroo分两组组评比） T: What animal do you like? And why?
e.g. I like tigers,because they’re very strong. c. 观看活动一动画视频，跟读并两人表演：
I eat grass. I drink water. Do you eat ice cream? Yes,I do.
找规律：grass water icecream不可数；动词drink eat原形属于一般现在时。
(设计意图：良好的开端是成功的一半。白板播放并演唱歌曲< Why >营造积极活跃的课堂气氛的同时，学生进行了旧知“Why...？Because....”句型的再忆和提取。Free talk询问“喜欢什么动物？”自然引入谈论动物话题。教材活动一的学习，教师点拨学生关注时态中动词
的形式，为学生能够正确使用动词形式进行本课话题交流做了铺垫。)
【环节二】Presentation 主题呈现 明确任务
Today we’ll take up Module 9 Unit 2, learn to use the simple present tense to describe the behavior of animals, and then introduce your favorite animal, Ok? (设计意图：白板呈现，强调本课学习任务。)
【环节三】Text learning 课文学习 问题探究 a. 观看课文内容录像，概括主题，并跟读。 T: What’s this video about? Ss: It’s about kangaroos. 选词填空：Australia Australian
Kangaroos are ______ animals. Kangaroos live in ______. 板书课题：Module9 Unit2 Kangaroos live in Australia. b. 小组交流，汇报提出问题。 Where do they live? How do they jump?
What does the mother kangaroo has? What do they eat and drink? c. 小组交流，查找问题答案:

学习单词back,强调字母a在闭音节中的发音， 白板随机书写拓展词语cat bag dad bad等。
趣味练读：A fat black cat is on a fat black rat’s back.
2. 观看视频：The mother kangaroo has a special bag for her baby. 3. They eat grass and leaves.
图片解析：leaf（单数）——leave（复数）grass（单数）——grass（复数） 4. They drink milk. d. 再读课文，整体记忆。

(设计意图: 微课视频呈现本课内容，调动学生眼、耳、口多种感官感知、理解，让课本中隐性化、抽象化的语言知识变得形象、生动。学生是学习过程的主体，课文学习过程中学生自主交流、提出问题并解决问题，培养学生自主探究的学习能力。过程中，利用白板课件中图片移动、克隆、随机手写等功能，突破语言知识的重、难点学习。通过三星等级评价学生课文朗读、课文填空、依据语言框架复述课文的情况。)
