教材分析:
本课是新标准英语(三年级起点)五年级下册第七模块第二单元I’ll be home at seven o’clock.第一课时。本课时通过学习Mr Smart七点回家过生日这一话题,让学生进一步加深理解时间的表达方法以及将来某个时间要做某事,主要运用I’ll ...这一句型进行操练。本单元是上一单元学习的延伸,为学生学习和巩固运用一般现在时态和一般将来时态提供了很好的素材,从而进一步提高学生的听说读写的综合能力。 教学目标: 知识目标:
1、学生能听、说认读词汇quarter,to,a quarter to /past,worry,Don’t worry!
2、学生能听、说、认读句型:Will you be home at seven o’clock?Yes,I will.What time will you be home?I’ll be home at seven o’clock. 能力目标:
1、学生能灵活运用所学词汇与句型描述某个时间将要回家。 2、学生能运用所学知识对自己将要做的事情进行描述,灵活运用一般将来时态“will+动词原形”描述将来发生的事情或者打算。
情感态度目标:
1、通过形式多样的英语活动提高学生的自我展示能力、沟通和合作交流的能力,增强学生学习英语的兴趣。
2、对比中西方人们在生活上的不同观念,学会合理安排时间,养成良好的生活习惯和学习习惯。 教学重难点:
1、学生能听说认读本课的词汇与句型。
2、能灵活运用I’ll be home...描述某个时间将要回家。 3、学生能运用所学知识对自己将要做的事情进行描述,灵活运用一般将来时态“will+动词原形”描述将来发生的事情或者打算。 教学准备:单词卡片、课本、课件、动画、练习题
教学过程
Step 1 Warming up(热身活动) 1.Greetings.
2.Say a chant.I get up in the morning.
3.Ask and answer.What time does he get up /go to school/go home/watch TV/go to bed? He gets up/....at half past seven./...
Step 2 Presentation(新知呈现) 1. Leading in.(谈话引入)
T:Today is Mr Smart’s birthday.His family wants to give him a surprise.But they don’t know what time he will be home.Let’s
see together.
2. Present the question“What time will Mr Smart be home?”(呈现问题)
(1)T:Let’s watch the flash at first.(观看动画) Ss:Watch the flash according to the question.
(2)Answer the question.“What time will Mr Smart be home?”I’ll be home at seven o’clock.(回答问题)
3.Text Processing, New Knowledge Teaching.(文本处理,新知教学)
(1) The picture 1.Present the questions“Who’s calling?”“What’s the time now?”“Will Mr Smart be home at seven o’clock? ”(课件出示第一幅图,呈现三个问题)
(2)Listen to the tape.Then answer the questions.And practise with the Ss.(听录音两边,问答问题,再师生、生生进行练习。) (3)Present the picture 2 with the same way.(用同样的方法呈现第2幅图)。
Teach the new words and sentences.(教学新词和新句子)Don’t worry!
And practise with the Ss.
(4)The picture 3.Present the questions“Who’s calling?”“What’s the time now?”(课件出示第三幅图,呈现问题) Listen to the tape and guide students to answer“It’s a quarter
to seven.”
Teach and practise how to describe the times .(教学和练习时间的表达方式)
Present the question“Will Mr Smart be home at seven o’clock? ”.Listen to the tape and answer it. And practise with the Ss.
(5)Present the picture 4 with the same way.(用同样的方法呈现第4幅图)。
4.Listen and follow it.(听音,跟读) 5.Role play.(角色扮演) Step 3 Practice
Group communication.(小组交流)
Present three pictures and talk about them with the partners.And then act it out.(呈现三幅图片,学生在小组内交流图片,并展示汇报) Step 4 Production Show time.My Plan.

2. Emotional education.We should have a strong sense of time,to develop a good habit of punctuality and discipline.(我们要有严格的时间观念,养成守时、守纪的好习惯。) Step 6 Homework
