Teaching Content:Daming is talking about his picnic to his mother. He had a picnic with his friends. They ate the delicious food and they drank some drinks. They played game with each other. They took lots of pictures and made a poster. They had a lovely time. Teaching Function: Talking about a picnic in the past.
Analysis of the students: The students are from Grade 4. They have a great interest in English. And they like speaking English with others. They can talk about the past. They can talk about the different between the past and the present. And they can talk about people and places in the past. But they can’t use simple past tense skillfully. Teaching Aims:
1. Knowledge and Ability Aims:
A. Vocabulary: The students can read the new words: took/ delicious/ made/ poster/.
B. Target Language: I took some pictures.
2. Process and Method Aims: By listening, speaking, reading,

writing and discussing, let the students to use the key sentences to talk about the picnic in the past. And let them to make a poster.
3. Emotion Manner Aims: Stir up the students’ interest, encourage cooperate, encourage them to speak English happily and encourage the children to bold to speak English. Teaching Focus and Difficult Points: 1. Students can understand the text deeply.
2. Students can use the key words and key sentences to talk about something in the past.
3. Students can make a post in the past with group members, and talk about their poster in groups. Teaching Methods:
