一、课时教学目标

1. 辨别时间,条件及让步状语从句,熟悉掌握重点连词; 2. 结合“体育人物”,在语篇中熟练运用三种状语从句。 过程与方法
1. 通过猜测三位体育人物及听力训练,分析和归纳三种状语从句; 2. 通过篇章阅读及看图说话,熟练应用状语从句来谈论体育人物。 情感态度价值观
通过积极主动地学习,学生能够运用三种状语从句谈论并描写其喜爱的体育人物。 二、教学重点与难点
重点: 归纳并准确运用三种状语从句的主要连词。
难点:在语篇中合理运用状语从句。 三、教学方法与手段 方法:
观察法、归纳法、情景教学法。 手段:
黑板,粉笔,多媒体课件。 四、使用教材的构想
本课为语法课,以根据提示猜测运动员姓名的小游戏为导入,引入语法项目——时间,条件和让步状语从句。通过一段听力内容《我喜爱的体育明星》,归纳总结三种状语从句的连词。通过不同连词的比较分析以及阅读姚明的文章并填空,学生可以辨析三种状语从句的连接词,并提高对三种状语从句的篇章理解及运用。最后通过李宁的信息看图说话,既在语境中巩固了三种状语从句的用法,同时复习阅读课文中的知识,期望可以提高学生的英语语言的应用能力。
五、教学流程 I.Lead-in
T: Can you guess which sportsman in the 2008 Olympics is described based on the hint ? 1) Even if he retired from the sport, he still made contributions to the sport’s cause.
2) When Chinese athletes stepped out onto the track of the opening ceremony, he appeared first
as a national flag bearer.
3) If he attends the 2012 Olympics, he may be the winner in men’s 110 meters hurdles. S: Li Ning, Yao Ming and Liu Xiang.

IV. Introduction to Yao Ming

本课整体设计十分系统,思路清晰,环节衔接紧密,教学目标清楚。遵循情景教学法的原则赋予语法课整体的情景设计。第一以对奥运健儿的描述这一情景贯穿整节课堂,给枯燥无聊的语法教学带来了勃勃生机。第二以思维为核心训练学生对不同从句连接词的辨析,提高他们对三种状语从句的理解及运用。第三以情为纽带激发学生兴趣,引入竞赛机制,课堂气氛活跃,充分调动了学生的积极性;同时谈论李宁的生平与成功时,激励学生树立榜样。第四以实践为目的培养学生英语运用的能力,通过李宁的信息看图说话,学生可以巩固课上所学知识,并促进英语语言的使用能力。
本课不足在于语言的规范使用方面还有待提高,如学生在课堂发言中的明显错误可及时纠正,帮助他们规范语言。此外,在语法课中如何运用各种途径促进学生英语表达能力的提高是值得思考的,如怎样在竞赛的形式下,让学生展示出更高的水平,促进思维的发展。
