一、指导理论
根据新课程理念,使学生在义务教育阶段学习的基础上,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神;优化学生的英语学习方法,使他们能通过观察、体验、探究等主动学习的方法,充分发挥自己的学习潜能,形成有效的学习策略;在培养学生语言知识、语言技能、学习策略的基础上发展学生综合运用语言的能力。 二、学情分析
学生通过前一个单元定语从句(一)部分的学习,已经掌握了定语从句的相关概念及关系代词which/that/who/whom/whose的用法,知道定语从句中关系代词的选择思路是:首先要观察先行词是人还是物,其次要分析关系词在从句中作的成分。这些相关知识,尤其是分析关系词在从句中作什么成分这一点,已为关系副词的学习作好了充分的铺垫。 三、教情分析
本节课的教学内容是:在定语从句中,当先行词是时间、地点、原因时,关系代词与关系副词的用法区别。学生通过前面的学习已经掌握当先行词是物时,关系代词引导定语从句并在从句中作主语和宾语。本节课可利用学生已有的关系代词在定语从句中的相关知识引出关系副词的用法,通过对比强化他们的用法区别,并设计不同形式的语境反复练习运用关系代词和关系副词,使学生能熟练准确地运用定语从句。 四、教学目标
1.知识目标:通过教师提供的典型例题对比练习,90%以上的学生能够准确地选择关系代词或关系副词来引导定语从句;
2.能力目标:通过运用定语从句来描述事物和改写作文的练习,80%以上的学生形成在具体语境中运用定语从句的语言能力。
3.情感目标:通过小组学习,讨论发言的方式,让大部分同学形成合作探究的精神。 五、教学重点及难点
1.掌握关系代词或关系副词在定语从句中的用法区别,并能在语境中正确运用定语从句。 2.如何在写作中适当地运用定语从句。 六、教学方法

Step2: Learning 1. Ask the students to combine six groups of simple sentences by using which/ that or prep.+which and analyze what roles which/that or prep.+which play in the attributive clause. 2. Tell the students when prep.+which acts as adverbial in the clause, it can be replaced by when/ where/why 1. Combine the sentences and analyze the sentence structure of the clause. 2. Have a discussion with group members to solve problems and draw a conclusion about the different usage between which/that

Give each student one piece of pager with a sentence on it ,ask them to find the clause on the screen.
