To get information from the reading material about Liu Xiang’s sporting
experience; to rewrite the text according to the Activity 3. 
2学情分析
体育是学生们十分熟悉的话题,也是他们喜爱参加的活动。本模块以谈论体育比赛和体育明星为题材,要求学生能读懂体育明星刘翔的成长经历,并能仿写体育明星的成长经历。
3重点难点
本课的重点是能读懂关于刘翔的故事,难点是能仿写体育明星的成长经历。
4教学过程
4.1第一学时
4.1.1新设计

  • Lead-in  (2 minutes)
Show some pictures about sports.show a picture of Liu Xiang and ask some questions about him.Do you know his sports life?
(目的:通过展示图片提到110米跨栏,引出刘翔,问学生关于刘翔的一些基本信息,最后过度到他的体育生涯,顺势引出课文激发学生想了解刘翔的欲望。
  • 说明:在上新课之前,教师先布置学生预习课文,一般包括:自学新词汇、找出重点短语、回答课文后提出的问题等。
  • Reading  (18 minutes)
1. Listening

2.  Fast-reading  
(阅读技巧:通过整体粗读,领略内容大意,重点阅读文章开头和结尾,找出主题句,抓住中心。)
