整体设计思路、指导依据说明
1.本单元的主题是讲述“古今中外传统故事”。这节课的设计原理源于“2014年英语新课标”，课标指出“4级目标”作为八年级的英语教学的总目标。本阶段的英语教学，以激发学生学习兴趣为目标，培养学生小组合作精神，提升解决问题能力，在互帮互助过程中，尝试先进的多媒体技术辅助教学，拓展课外知识。
2.本课时为第二课时，以中国人家喻户晓的《西游记》视频引入，视频中人物角色由学生扮演录制的，充分激发学生兴趣，调动学生参与课堂的积极性。
3. 学生能够描述故事中的人物角色的外貌和性格特征，并从故事中的人物学习一些可贵的精神品质，运用到学习生活中。例如孙悟空的勇敢，善良，乐于助人等品质，对学生都产生一定的积极影响。
4. 形式及资源：在教学活动中，主要以“课本资源、导学案”为活动载体；以“学生小组合作”为活动形式；以“微课”作为课前导入的有效方式； 引导学生深入学习本节课内

Information about the class教学背景分析
教学内容分析：
1.本课是本单元的第二课时，旨在让学生学习传统故事中的人物角色，通过快速阅读，精读等阅读方式，体会故事的主要意思，并了解故事中主要人物角色的特征。通过小组合作，互相讲述所学故事。并从故事中学习一些可贵的精神品质。
2.学习“传统故事”，目的是感受不同国度的文化特征和差异，让学生能从故事中学习和领悟一定的道理，学习孙悟空的顽强不屈，乐于助人的优秀品质，并且运用到学习生活中，达到教书育人的德育效果。
学生情况分析：
1.八年级的学生对《西游记》这一传统故事并不陌生；本节课主要引导学生掌握一定的阅读技巧，并且学习故事中人物可贵的精神品质，从而达到育人的教育目的。
2.该班整体英语水平较好，英语学习兴趣高，氛围浓厚，总体朗读和口语水平较好。班级中有12名同学的英语基础较好，4名英语口语出色，6名学生基础相对薄弱，不敢开口。于是在教学过程中，将班级学生以6人一组进行分组，将不同层次的学生均衡分
配，尽量做到每一个小组英语水平相当。对于英语薄弱的学生，注意上课时分层教学，同时安排优生对其进行辅导，形成互帮互助的学习氛围。
3.根据该班学生的英语基础和性格特点，老师设计了一系列的活动吸引不同层次学生，激发他们学习英语的热情和提升参与课堂的积极性。（例如：观看视频、现场人物角色扮演，小组合作，同伴对话等）。

Moral aim: After learning the story, students are able to learn some important spirits from the Monkey King,
such as being kind, helpful, and strong, brave and so on.

Rationale可行性分析
Students havealready known about the story in Chinese version. So it’s not difficult for student to understand the main idea of the story. However, it’s not easy for students to retell the story in English and learn the valuable spirits from the main character.Because they are sometimes lack of confidence and too shy. So it’s quite necessary for students to for teacher to lead them to challenge and improve themselves.
学生已经阅读过关于该故事的中文版，所以对他们来说，理解本故事的大意并不难。但是，学生想要通过英文讲述故事，并且从中主角人物身上汲取一些可贵的精神品质却不是件易事。因此，老师引导学生学会挑战自我，提升自我是一件非常重要的事情。
