初中英语组 蔡文杰
《义务教育英语课程标准（2011年版）》指出：“义务教育阶段的英语课程具有工具性和人文性双重性质”。就工具性而言，英语课堂教学应发展学生基本的听、说、读、写能力以及基本的英语交流交际能力，进一步促进学生的思维发展；就人文性而言，英语课程承担着提高学生综合人文素养的任务，不仅要帮助学生开拓视野、增长知识，还要帮助学生形成正确的人生观、价值观和人文素养。
依据《英语课程标准》中的理论要求，在本节课的设计当中，我设计一条主干线引领贯穿于整节课。在本节课中，我在课堂的最开始为学生引入一个新朋友Frank。为Frank设定的身份是澳大利亚籍且现在美国留学的学生。通过与Frank的对话引出端午、时差、留学生等知识块，以及本单元的阅读文章主人公——朱辉，进而进行文本学习。最后由Frank和朱辉留学生的身份引出留美学生在美国的生活情况介绍，通过对他们在外留学生活的了解，对学生进行热爱家庭、热爱家乡和热爱祖国的情感态度价值观教育。
纵观教学设计、课堂实际效果等多个方面，我认为本节课有以下比较好的地方：
第一，整节课在由一条主线贯穿，机构结构紧密，逻辑性强。一堂设计精密、逻辑性强的课，才更容易抓住学生，吸引学生的注意力，让学生全程跟紧老师的节奏，完成本节课相应的知识任务、思维任务，达成情感目标。
第二，重视语言的实践性和应用性。现在英语课堂提倡情境教学，让学生在具体的情境中学习英语、学会英语。情境教学法是指在教学过程中，教师有目的地引入或创设具有一定情绪色彩的、以形象为主体的生动具体的场景，以引起学生一定的态度体验，从而帮助学生理解教材，并使学生的心理机能能得到发展的教学方法。本节课从一开始就设计了外国友人Frank微信来电的情境，给同学设置给Frank回电的任务，接下来帮助学生梳理思路，引出新知。因为有任务引领，学生在学习的过程中会更深刻。贯穿整节课，学生全部在Frank引起的教学情境当中，主动在课堂中汲取新知。
第三，注重对学生思维习惯的培养。本节课中在端午节介绍和文章复述两部分运用到了思维导图。思维导图运用图文并重的技巧，把各级主题的关系用相互隶属与相关的层级图表现出来，把主题关键词与图像、颜色等建立记忆链接。思维导图可以提高学习者的思维水平和思维能力，有助于提高学习者、甚至是教师的学习能力，有助于使一个学习者真正实现终身化学习和学会学习的目标。长期让学生接受思维导图，有利于帮助学生形成良好的思维习惯。
第四，借助媒体手段帮助学生了解英语国家文化生活，培养情感态度价值观。本节课课文主要讲

的就是留学生朱辉的中国家人和美国寄宿家庭的家人在端午节当天都在坐什么，两相对比显差异。学生因本土环境的原因，对于国内的生活比较了解，但是对国外的生活所知不多。本节课的最后一个环节是观看视频，听在美留学生亲自讲述在美国的生活和感受，进而进行情感教育——热爱自己的家、家乡和祖国。效果较好。
以上是我个人认为本节课比较好的几方面。然而本节课还存在一些不足之处。首先，课堂节奏把握得不好，前面用得时间较多，后面剩的时间就少了，导致后面的环节在操作的过程中受时间限制效果不太好。其次，学生上课的积极性不高。本节课在授课的过程中，学生的参与度较高，但是在举手发言的广泛性方面上还不足，举手的同学多集中为某几个，一部分同学能够积极参与思考，但是不举手发言（可能也有公开课较紧张的因素）。因此，在今后的课堂教学当中，应注意营造良好的课堂气氛，鼓励学生积极动脑思考，举手发言，充分利用课堂激励机制，调动学生的积极性。最后，在课堂的最后，我认为应设定一个总结反思的环节检查学生的课堂知识掌握情况。本节课当中没有设定summary的环节，抑或在课后布置一项作业，用练案检验学习效果，让学生及时巩固所学，我觉得这样会更好一些。
