课文标题： When is the best time to visit the US?

整体 在英语阅读教学中，阅读过程是重要的输入环节，而阅读后的输
出活动则是检查阅读理解程度、培养思维能力、提高语言运用能力及
主动构建知识的重要阶段。如果阅读课教学活动设计合理,就能充分发
挥学生的主体作用，从而达到教学效果的最优化。
本堂课教学内容是一篇说明文，结合天气这一话题介绍了美国的部分
城市，语言简洁，逻辑清晰，学起来通俗易懂，相似句式的重叠使用，
设计思路 也使得文本读起来朗朗上口。在本堂课中，先导入，激活学生已有知
识，让学生对美国有初步感知，指导学生利用阅读策略确定文本话题。
再设计多元任务，加深对目标语言的理解和运用。同时培养学生学会
分析、判断和思考，借助思维带动语言，运用语言表达思维。最后通
过扩展语言交流环境，培养学生表达能力。
教学目标 1、 语言能力
掌握 northeast, northwest, mile, round 等词；能正确使用
Do…,You’d better…, Do not forget to…等句型提建议和运用 so,
because, but 等连接词使句子更具逻辑性；能在语境中使用 all year
round, compared to, can be 等短语；能根据话题“向游客介绍旅游
景点”表达自己的观点。
2、学习能力
能借助扫读、寻读、思维导图等手段明确文章的主题意义，获取
the US 的相关信息；能积极参与主题讨论。
3、文化品格
培养跨文化交际的意识，学习理解和尊重异国文化、热爱家乡、
热爱生活的情感；通过小组活动，培养与他人积极合作的精神。
4、 思维品质
能在读前、读中、读后活动链中开展积极的思维训练，产生思
维碰撞，提升迁移、分类、概括、分析、归纳、批判、创新等思维品
质。
教学 1. 借助扫读、寻读、思维导图等手段明确文章的主题意义，获取

2. 理解文本句子间的逻辑关系，推断隐含意义，能够运用阅读技巧
