This lesson is from the first period of unit 7, which talks about how to ask and answer the prices of the clothes. The topic is related to students’ daily life. 2. The students:
Most of the students know some words about clothes. But they don’t know how to ask and answer the prices of the clothes.They don’t know how to use money meaningfully,either. Part Ⅱ Teaching aims
1. Knowledge aims: Enable students to master some important words and phrases,such as,much,how much, sock, T-shirt, shorts, sweater, trousers, shoe, skirt, dollar and so on.
2. Ability aims: Enable students to learn how to ask and answer the prices of the clothes. 3. Emotional aims: Enable students to know how to use money meaningfully. 4. Cultural aims:Enable students to know the different currencies in the world. Part Ⅲ Teaching key points and difficult points

1.Lead-in Show Ss a video about shopping. And ask Ss some questions about the video.
Watch the video and answer the questions.
Attract the Ss’ attention and let them focus on the topic.
(1) Show the pictures and the new words, and teach them one by one. Read after the teacher, practice their pronunciation. Let Ss learn to read the new words.
(2) Ask some students to teach the new words.
Some of them can teach the new words,others follow them.

Ask Ss to talk about clothes in the picture.
Talk about the clothes in the picture.
Prepare for listening.
(2) while-listening Ask Ss to listen carefully,circle the things you hear in the picture in 1a. Listen carefully and finish the exercise. Improve their abilities of listening.
(3) post-listening
Listen again and fill in the blanks.
Discussion. Do you know how to ask and answer the price? Fill in the blanks and discuss how to ask and answer the price?

4.Pair work
