Material analysis:
本课是话题一的第三课时。本课的主要活动是1a和2。通过图文并茂的方式介绍“My home”,进一步扩大学生的词汇、学习方位介词短语并复习巩固there be句型;还将学习用how many和 how much对物质名词的数和量进行提问。 Teaching aims:
1. 教师尽量创设情境,引导学生积极谈论关于房间、庭院的摆设及方位。 2. 学生能够运用图片、关键词、问句等形式捕捉文章重要信息,培养阅读能力。
3. 学生能够与同伴积极合作,共同完成学习任务。 The key points and difficult points : 1.能够在情景对话中,熟练运用there be句型的特殊疑问句、一般疑问句及其回答。
2.能运用表示方位关系的短语谈论房间分布、庭院布局和方位。 3.能正确使用how many和 how much句型。 Teaching methods : Communicative approach Cooperative learning
Learning strategies : 关注学生语言的输入及输出,注重综合探究活动、增强学生的实践体验能力。

Review and talk
The teacher shows some pictures about rooms and ask the students “Where is he/she working ?”. Then talk about your favorite room.
Pairwork
Show another picture about the student in this class. Ask: Where is he studying ? He is studying in the classroom. Next, let’s have a look at our classroom. There are so many desks in the classroom. Please look here.
