本节课是第三话题的Section A的第一课时,主要活动是1a和1c。通过询问物品所属的情境呈现教学内容,主要学习询问物品所属的表达方式“Whose cap is it?”,“It’s Sally’s.”,“Is this your cap?”,“No, it’s not mine. ”,“Is this cap yours?”同时还将学习名词性物主代词和名词所有格。 Ⅱ. Teaching aims ⒈ Knowledge aims
学生能够根据发音规则自主拼读和运用新单词:mine, whose, yours, hers, bike, cat, then等;

Ss all stand up, sing and do the body exercises: Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes. Step 2. Revision (3 mins)
1. Let Ss read some words with the help of phonetic rules and words they have learned already. an, can, cat; egg, pen, then; hi, fine, mine, bike; who, whose, yours, hers
2. Review the pronunciation of vowels. Step 3. Pre-listening (12 mins)
1. Teacher shows the new words on the PPT and helps Ss to read them correctly.

2. Practice the new words by doing a quick response.
3. Free talk and play the guessing game to show the main sentence patterns.
T: Look, what’s this in English? Ss: It’s a pen.
T: Whose pen is it, do you know? Ss: No, we don’t know.
T: Well, this is my pen. I can also say it is mine. T: S1, is this your book? S1: Yes, it is.
T: So S1, this is your book. The book is yours.
T: Now I have collected 3 things here. But only one of them is mine. Please use this sentence pattern to guess which is Ms. Lin’s.
-Is this …yours?
-Yes, it’s mine. / No, it’s not mine.
T: This is a cap. So please ask me to guess. Ss: Is this cap yours?
T: No, it’s not mine. I think it’s S2’s. T: The whole class, let’s ask S2 again. Ss: S2, is this cap yours? S2:Yes, it’s mine.
T: Good, here you are! So the cap is S2’s. It’s S2’s cap. ...
(Use another 2 things to make the same dialogue with Ss.) T: Look at the picture. Who are they, do you know? Ss: They are Jane, Maria, Kangkang and Michael.
T: Yes. Now I will show some things of them. Please guess the owner. Picture 1, whose dress is it? Ss: It’s Maria’s.
T: You’re so smart. And we can also say it’s hers. ...
(Guide Ss to summarize the usage of nominal possessive pronouns.) 4. Pair work: The Happy Wheel
Let Ss practice the sentence pattern:
-Whose... is it?
-It’s mine/ yours/ hers/ his.
(Then have a competition to present their answers.)
T: So boys and girls, sometimes mine is yours, and yours is mine. Let’s learn to share, will you? Ss: Yes!
T: You’re such kind kids! Step 4. While-listening (15 mins)
1. Let Ss listen to 1b. Number the pictures and then listen again and fill in the blanks. 2. Listen, look and say. Finish 1a.
1). Let Ss listen to 1a and answer the question: Whose cap is it?
2). Ask Ss to read after the tape and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation, and mark out sentences that should be read in rising tone.

4). Ask Ss to read with the tape and then try to recite 1a. Step 5. Post-listening (10 mins) 1. Share my traveling story.
