Step1:Before the party
1.Have a freetalk:Greetingsand talking about the clothes: T:Nice to meet you. S1:Nicte to meet you. T:How are you? S1:Find thank you.
T:Your dress is very nice. S2:Thanks you.
T: Look at ...’s dress. S3:It’s very nice. S4: How beautiful.I 2.Elicit the topic
T: Listen to the song and answer “What is the song about?” S1: It’s about the party.
T: Yes.Whose party is coming? S2:Sam’s party is coming. T: That’s right. 3.Make a phone call.
T:What is sam doing before the party? Look, Sam is calling.Who is he calling? S1: Bobby.
T: Look, yes ,he’s calling Bobby.
Guess,what do they speak on the phone? S2/S3....
(Check and write the useful patterns on the Bb.)
T: How to inivte Bobby to your party?Please work in pairs. (Ss pratise in pairs fisrt then some pairs to say.)
T:Who else is Sam calling? (Prepare some students photos before). (One student to answer the phone.) 4. Dressing up
T: All of us have been invited to the party. What clothes do you want for the party? S1/2: I want...for the party. T:Time for the party. Let’s go. Step 2:At the party 1. Greetings at the party.
T:Sam is busy on decorating the party.
T:Look, Sam is waiting for us. Bobby is coming too. What does he say? S1/2:...(Look and fill the bubbles freely.) 2. Talking about the clothes at the party.
T:There are lots of friends at the party ,look they are talking about the clothes. T: Look, listen and read: What is Bobby saying? Ss: Read together.
T: What is Tina saying?
Ss:Read and fill the blanks and say.
T: Can you find out the useful words and patterns?
Ss: Read the two passages and find out the useful words and sentences. (Check the answers and write on Bb) T: What is Judy saying? Ss: Listen and order.
(Check the answers and read together.) T: Guess: What does Nick say? Ss: Work in pairs and check.
T: Please read Billy’s and answer the questions. Ss read and answer:
1)What’s the weather (天气) like today?) 2)What colour is the vest?
3)What about Billy’s glasses?
Ss read again and find our the plural forms after checking the answers. 3. Practise in groups.
T: Now it’s your turn to talk about your own clothes. Ss: Work in groups.
Show time:Invite some students to say. Step 3:After the party
1. Pratise the patterns “Whose..?”
T: It’s time to say goodbye.Look, there are a lot of things on the table. Whose are they?

S1: ...Are they your...? S3: Yes, they are.

T: There are still lots of thinds on the table. Ss:Guess in pairs and check the answers. 2.Reading time.
