英语绘本《The Elephant and the Spider》教学设计
教学目标：
（一）学习能力目标：
1，掌握故事情节，培养文本意识。 2，提高阅读能力，学会自主学习。 （二）知识技能目标：
1.利用上下文、图画、动作及已有知识经验等正确理解spider web dying die lie down fly mouse swing large caught gold silver的意思，能够基本正确地跟读、指读、朗读故事；
2.尝试运用一些基本的阅读策略如利用上下文线索词、插图中的信息以及已有的知识经验去预测、推理出蜘蛛蛇，老鼠，鸟儿等动物之间的对话，能够借助板书对故事文本的主要线索进行梳理提炼； （三）思维品质目标
1.要学习做事量力而行，不能做不符合自己实际情况的事，以致遭人嘲笑教学过程.
2.能在阅读文本时，享受阅读乐趣，为以后阅读打基础。
教学重点：
1，读懂并理解故事大意。 2掌握重点词汇。
教学难点：
1，看英文视频理解大象的生活。
2，促进知识迁移，以感情朗读帮助理解课文内容。
教学准备：
PPT,video,pictures,word cards
Step 1: Warm up 热身准备
T: Are you happy? What did you do last weekend? S:Yes .S1…S2…S3…etc
设计意图：利用chant感知句型，并熟悉认知关于动物的词elephant spider mouse flies
snake，为故事阅读做铺垫。
T:Yes. I like it. It’s beautiful. Wow,so many animals. I see a bird. What do you see? S:...
T: These animals are big. These animals are small.师做手势.. Step2: Cover (title) talk & lead in the story 封面( 标题) 探讨 Activity 1: Talk about the title and the cover.
T: Oh, an old elephant , talk about the elephant, what does he like? what can he do ?引出trunk和 swing.
T: Is he dying? 师帮住学生理解dying,
Guess the age of the elephant, How old is the elephant?” (S1: Maybe....)He is dying. he walks slowly swinging his trunk slowly.
T:Compare the elephant and the spider ,talk about the spider old small large web The title of the story is the elephant and the spider Let’s read it together. 揭示课题贴课题
The spider is very small ,he is making a large web between two trees. what will he want to do？
Step 3: Picture walk of the story 图片环游
T: Can you tell me more about the elephant?（观看英文视频） (Ss: it’s very strong. ) (S:The elephants eat to much) .(S:They can live to be 70 years old.) (Ss : …)
T: What can the elephant do? (Students predict.) 师教授trunk, swing
T: .But this elephant is very old, he is dying. he is looking for a place to sleep (强调学习单词dying) T: Do you know where the spider is? and what is the spider doing? Can you guess? You can read the paragraph and find out the answer.
T: The spider is making a large web. The web was very colourful. It was blue and silver, purple and gold, yellow, orange and green.(通过色彩斑斓的网的阅读，让孩子们指导如何感知美丽并且表现美丽)
Step 4: Silent reading 自主默读
Students enjoy the whole story by themselves. (Give a few minutes to read.)
Review the story together. When teacher sticks the word cards and pictures on the blackboard, students and teacher retell the story together. Step5: Read the story aloud 朗读输出
T: The spider is making a large web, Why does he make so large web, read the dialogue between the animals and the spider.
（两分钟练习。然后表演对话内容。对话是老师重新根据阅读材料改编的，通过清净的练习和场景的模拟更能逼切身体会文本）
Animals: The other spider are sleeping. Why are you working at night？
Spider: This is going to be the most beautiful web. Mouse: It’s very large.
Snake: No flies are that large. Spider: I don’t want to catch a fly.
Bird: What are you going to catch in your web? Spider: I’m going to catch the elephant.
T: Did the spider catch the elephant? Read and discuss.
T:Where is the elephant?（发散学生思维仁者见仁智者见智）
T: Finally， the elephant is dead. What happened to the spider?
Ss: （引导学生思考蜘蛛发生什么事了？为什么他和也死了）
（大象是老死的，蜘蛛是累死的，揭示了文本所在的情感目标）
Activity 1. Read the whole story after the audio. Point to the words with fingers while reading.
Activity 2. Act the story out in groups. Each group act one scene. Step 6: Extended activities 反思小结
