Teaching procedures Part One Before Reading Step I. Warm- up
1、 Greetings and a game “ Sharp your eyes”
设计目的:通过师生问候和游戏消除陌生感,活跃课堂气氛。
2、 Free talks “ What’s your favourite food?”
设计目的:在交流中操练上节课的重点句型并学习新词,为下面的阅读学习打基础。
Part Two During Reading Step II Skimming
Listen to the tape for the first time and students tell the food words that mentioned in the notes.
设计目的:培养学生听力,训练学生在听的过程中抓住关键词的能力,为下面的阅读做铺垫。
Step III Scanning
Read the note by yourselves and answer the questions “1)What’s Yifan’s favourite food? Why? 2)What’s Yifan’s favourite vegetable? 3)What’s grandpa’s favourite food? Why?”
设计目的:通过学生自主阅读培养学生快速抓住关键句子、获取文章主要内容的能力。
Step IV Careful reading
1. Read the notes for the third time to find out the food that Yifan andgrandpa like and they don’t like. Then use the mind map to present them.
设计目的:培养学生通过仔细阅读把握文章内容的能力,并引导学生用思维导图形式表现出来,对学生的概括能力进行训练。
2. Game time “ Make sentences”.
设计目的:用游戏的形式操练本课学习的难点句型“I like vegetables but

3. Group work “How to write a note in English?”
设计目的:小组讨论探究发现如何用英语书写便条,引导学生团结协作、互相补充、动脑思考、学会学习。
Part Three After Reading Step V Read after the tape
设计目的:跟录音读课文不仅能让学生模仿纯正的语音语调,还能帮助学生在语境中记忆词汇和表达。
Step VI Write a note in chain.
设计目的:通过学习便条到自己写便条,学以致用。

Step III Homework
1、 Write a note to your mum and tell her what you want for dinner.
