Blackboard, PPT Teaching procedures:
Step 1: Greetings
Step 2: The teacher presents a picture about the school sports meeting held last
year to attract students’ attention.
Step 3: Lead in
The teacher tells students that the school sports meeting will still be held
this year and guides students to think how to let others know the news.
Step 4: pre – writing
1. Students talk about the form of notice and what to write in a notice (when, where, how, what, why, who).
2. The teacher presents a sample of notice and guides students to find its form.
3. Students read the notice again to find out the expressions to express the key points and the teacher writes them on the blackboard.
4. The teacher shows students more expressions which can be used in writing a notice.
Step 5；writing
1. Students read the requirements of the notice (the key points) 2. Students write down the form and key points of the notice
3. Students use the expressions they have just learned to write and the teacher asks some students to write on the blackboard.
Step 6: The teacher checks the writing on the blackboard.
Step 7: The teacher guides students to summarize what they have learned. Step 8: Homework
