教学目标
知识目标:全体学生掌握以下句型,

技能目标:Learn to greet people and make new friends.
情感目标:Learn to make new friends.
2学情分析
初一学生能写字母和简单的单词,但语言基础知识薄弱。有较强的记忆力和模仿能力。有较强的求知欲和表现欲。但部分学生存在不自信,羞于表现的特点。在小组合作学习的过程中,各环节进一步促进学生之间的相互了解。大部分学生对英语兴趣浓厚,所以在教授句型时,一定要尽量多安排活动,让他们大胆去说,去练,去模仿,有必要时采用游戏的方式,增加他们学习英语的兴趣,为以后的学习打下好的基础。
3重点难点
重点:
1、熟练拼写和运用:name, nice, to, meet, too, your, Ms等词。
2、掌握和运用下列句型:
What's your name? My name is...
Nice to meet you!
Hello, I am...
难点:运用句型进行自我介绍和问候他人。

活动1【导入】Warm up and Lead in
1.Greetings:
T:Good morning, boys and girls.
B:Good morning, Ms Chen.
T: How are you?
S: I'm fine, thank you. How are you?
T: Great. Sit down, please!
2.Sing a song"Hello, hello. What's your name?"
3. Ask how to make friends.
T: Wow, there're so many new faces, and I want to make friends with you. What should I say?
活动2【讲授】Presentation
1.Watch a video, and then discuss about the video:
T:What are they talking about?
S1:My name is ….Nice to see you..
T:Now you see. We are going to learn to greet people and ask for names today. I'm Chen Rong. You can call me Ms. Chen. Well,what’s your name?
2.new words and sentences.
1.Learn new words in the sentences they have learnt from the video: your, name, Ms.
2.T:I'm Chen Rong. You can call me Ms. Chen. Well,what’s your name?
S: My name is...
T:Great! Nice to meet you.(Learn new words: nice, to, meet).
Ask students to say "Nice to meet you", then reply with"Nice to meet you, too", learn new words"too".
活动3【活动】Practice
1. Pairwork: talk with your partner, asking for names and greeting.
2. Chain work(game):
students in six teams greet their own members one by one, and see which team finish greetings first.
eg:
A:Hello, what's your name?
B: My name is..., What's your name?
A: I'm... Nice to meet you.
B: Nice to meet you, too. (Turn to Student C). What's your name?
C: My name is...
活动4【测试】Consolidation and expansion
1.Listen and Finish 1a on English Book.
T: Group... is the winner. Congratulations! Now we'll hear some students greet each other. Please number the conversation in the
order you hear them.
2. Follow the tape.
3. Watching a video of two students getting to know each other, and then allow students to look for new friends.
T: You did very good job. Now let's review what we learnt by this video.
Do you want to make new friends in our class. Now go ahead and try to find as many friends as possible!
