本课是人教版新目标英语九年级上册中的第四单元第一课时的一节听说课。本课主要以谈论人们在外貌和性格方面的变化为切入点,引导学生谈论自身的变化。最终让学生在生活中能自信、乐观,成为最优秀的自己。
Students Learning Analysis:
本班学生英语学习兴趣浓厚,基础较好,在字词方面的问题基本可以小组合作解决。主要是引导、激发学生的口语表达、加强听说训练。

4.1第一学时
4.1.1教学活动
活动1【讲授】I used to be afraid of the dark.
Teaching Procedures.
Step 1: Greeting and Lead-in.
As time goes by, we are changing every day. For example,we are growing taller and our hair longer and longer day by day. Our appearance and personalities change with the growing years. Now let’s invite some of you here. Let’s describe them.
Encourage students to describe their classmates. Then finish 1a.
I will provide them with more words.
Step 2:1b.
Show some students’ photos. Invite them to introduce the changes.
Lead students to the listening materials to get what his friends used to be like.
听力第一遍完成空格,第二遍查漏补缺,核对答案,最后回答教师针对听力材料设置的问题。
Step 3:1c.
What did you use to be like?
You used to be short, didn’t you?
Did you use to be afraid of the dark?
用三种不同句子提问学生关于过去的情况。然后让学生用这三种句式自由提问其他同学,熟练运用。
Step 4:Let’s have a free talk.
I will tell my story about my changes and progress and encourage students to tell their story. We learn something from others’ story. It is very meaningful.
Step 5: summary.
Ask students to talk what they learn in this class.
Then I will encourage them to be confident and brave. Try to make changes and progress to become a better person.

本课时以情景导入的方式自然引入听说课,在讨论过去、现在自身变化的过程中让学生自然地学习到关于外貌、性格的一些词汇,句型。学生是活动的主体,课堂上大部分的时间交给学生,教师负责引导。如何一层层的导入,由易至难的阶梯状任务何时引入,如何引入都是关键所在。我需要注意的是,学生活动之前的范例一定要明确清晰,要每个孩子都知道做什么和怎么做,学生才能在表达中有所得。
