单元分析:
本单元是go for it 八年级上册第一单元第三课时。以Can you come to my party?这一问题展开话题,进行教学活动,使学生能够从形式上从口头对话发出邀请,接受邀请和拒绝邀请,逐步过渡到邀请函的写作。 学情分析:
学生已经经过前面两个课时的学习对这个话题的相关词汇和短语有一定的知识储备。这个班的同学能力较高,有一定的词汇积累,他们有能力也愿意学习更多的知识。我上课更愿意从他们身边的事例为话题,鼓励他们更多的表达自己的想法,设计一些比课本活动更具挑战性的活动。 知识目标:
1. 熟练掌握以下词汇:
Weekday the day after tomorrow the day before yesterday
2.回顾并掌握以下有关时间的表达法: --What’s today? --It’s Tuesday the 13th. -- What’s tomorrow? --It’s Wednesday the 14th. --What was yesterday? --It was Monday the 12th. 3.能够口头上发出邀请,接受邀请,拒绝邀请。 能力目标:
1. 学生能够运用目标语言学会发出邀请,接受邀请及礼貌的拒绝邀请。 2.学生能够通过小组练习培养合作能力和交际能力。 情感目标:
学会合理安排时间,做到劳逸结合;学会有礼貌地邀请别人, 有礼貌地接受邀请或拒绝邀请,做一个有礼貌的人; 教学过程:
Step 1 Review the days in a week ,months, and ordinal numbers from 1st to 31st . T:Let’s have a quiz.
How many days are there in a week? How many months are in a year? What is the first day of the week? When is Children’s Day?
目的:活跃课堂并复习上学期学词汇过的有关时间的。 Step2:
T: Look at the calendar.
Ask: --What day is today? --It’s Tuesday. --What’s the date today? --It’s December 13th. --What’s today?
--It’s Tuesday the 13th .
目的:学会新句型并熟知具体日期的另外一种表达方法。 Step 3:
First write these words below the correct dates on the calendar in 1a.
and then students read the words together.

1. Introduce Andy to Students
2. Work in a group of four and guess what Andy does on weekdays.
目的:小组合作以头脑风暴的形式尽可能多的列举出作为学生的Andy通常在工作日会有哪些活动,复习学过的词组,为后面的设计做语言积累。 Step 5: Look at the phrases and classify them Ask them what they can see from the picture
Tell them life is combined with hard work and good rest. 目的:培养学生合理规划自己的时间的能力。 Step6:watch a video and show them answers.
目的:训练学生的第一个关注点,无论是阅读还是听力一定要关注事件本身。(What) Step 7:Ask students:
“what do you think of his life?” “What do you think of Andy?”
“What’s your idea of his schedule?’ Answers will vary, For example, Health is the most important.

目的:训练学生独立思考的思维品质,让他们学会合理规划自己的时间,使得英语不光是一种交流的工具更需要培养学生的批判性思维和创新思维. Step 8:
On weekends , Andy wants to play tennis with his friend Vince . 1.Can Vince play tennis with Andy? Circle Yes or No 2.Match Vince’s activities with the days
目的:对本节课的重点知识进行初步输入,发出邀请及礼貌的拒绝邀请。 Step9:Work in pairs and make a similar dialogue 目的:半掌控操练,熟悉目标语言。 Step10:Let’s play a “changing face”
目的:学生需要根据笑脸哭脸的切换,及时调整自己的回答,训练他们的思维灵活性。 Step11:Make your weekend schedule and remember that weekend is also a time with friends. So make sure you can invite someone to enjoy the weekends with you.
目的:综合性任务。是学生能够把本节课所学运用到平时的学习生活中来。
