教学目标

2、掌握情态动词can的肯定句和否定句,一般疑问句及肯定,否定回答。

1、通过谈论彼此的特长与爱好,培养一种群体意识。
2、学会在新的语境中运用新学的语言知识。

通过实践让学生体验学习英语的乐趣,并能勇于展示自己的才能。通过小组活动谈论彼此的特长与爱好。
2学情分析
本单元的主题是运用情态动词can谈论能力,通过对目标语言的学习使学生能够表达自己在某一方面所具备的才能;通过谈论彼此的特长与爱好培养一种群体意识。初一学生处于英语学习兴趣培养和学习习惯养成阶段。他们希望在学习过程中享受到乐趣,不希望老师死板地讲解字词及句型。能够激发他们好奇心和创造力,并与他们日常生活紧密相连的学习语境是他们希望教师在课堂上能呈现的东西。一旦教师走进他们的生活,他们就愿意跟着教师走,掌握文化知识,了解学习策略,形成良好的人生观和价值观。
3重点难点
(一)教学重点(Teaching important points)
1、学习重点词汇:guitar,chess,join,paint,dance,speak,swim,sing,can’t=can not
2、掌握情态动词can的肯定句和否定句,一般疑问句及肯定,否定回答。
(二)教学难点(Teaching difficult points)
1、使用情态动词can表示能力。
2、把情态动词can的教学有机融入情景教学中。
4教学过程
4.1第一学时
4.1.1教学活动
活动1【导入】Step 1. Warming-up
Greet the students as usual and ask several students what they often do every day, for example: I often do homework / play ping pong/ read books … 鼓励学生谈论日常活动,引导学生关注动词短语,也为接下来的谈论自己的能力奠定基础。
活动2【讲授】Step 2. Presentation
Introduce a friend named Jack to the students . Jack is a Can-Do-Kid. What can he do? Lead the students to learn the new phrases such as “ play the drum, play the guitar, sing, dance, draw speak English.” Review the phrases , and finish 1a, then teach them the pattern: Can you play the drum? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.
介绍一个无所不能的朋友给学生们认识,引导他们掌握本节可的重点词汇,同时询问他们是否也能成为一个无所不能的人?
活动3【活动】Step 3. Work in pairs
Show some pictures to them and ask them to do pairwork.
互相询问对方会做的事,增进同学之间的了解。
活动4【活动】Step 4. Show yourself
The student talks about his own abilities, eg. I can play the guitar and sing, but I can’t …. 运用所学句型谈论自己会做以及不会做的事,展示自己,同时意识到自己的差距。
活动5【活动】Step 5. Super interview
The students work in groups of four, interview each other and then report like this: In my group, Lily can…
小组合作,进一步运用所学句型。
活动6【活动】Step 6. Listening
Listen to the tape and finish 1b. After listening, ask them a question: What club does the girl want to join?
听力训练,检测刚学的内容。
活动7【活动】Step 7. Welcome to the clubs
Show some clubs to them, and lead them to talk about the club they want to join, eg. I like telling stories. I can tell stories well. I am good at telling stories. I want to join the story telling club. Ask several students to talk about the club they want to join. After that, play the tape for them and finish 2a and 2b. Check the answers.
呈现不同的俱乐部,让学生来谈论自己想加入的俱乐部以及原因。接着播放录音机完成2a和2b部分。
活动8【活动】Step 8. Pairwork
Work in pairs and talk about the things they can do and the club they want to join.
两人一组合作学习,谈论自己会做以及不会做的事以及想加入的俱乐部,进一步巩固所学内容。
活动9【活动】Step 9. Enjoy a joke : A dog can play the piano
听笑话学英语:通过一则笑话小狗会弹钢琴,引导学生明白,只要自己努力,他们一定会成为一位Can-Do-Kid.
活动10【活动】Step 10. Groupwork
Job interview: Show them a poster, and ask them to make a dialogue. 引导学生进行Job Interview小组活动,让学生在阅读广告之后向全班同学进行调查,询问谁能胜任所招聘的工作,练习运用所学目标语言,达到学有所用的目的。
活动11【练习】Step 11. Homework
According to the poster above and finish the letter.

根据上面的海报,让学生们学会写一封求职信. 通过写来将所学内容进行语言输出。
