Analysis of
the teaching material This lesson is the 4th period of Unit 4, the topic of which is about four seasons. The listening material is mainly used to set a situation, also as
information inputting. Students will work out the structure of their talk,
and review expressions about location, weather, festivals and activities. Finally, they should output information by introducing a certain city. Analysis of
the students The students are from Grade 7 with a medium English level. They are
usually active and cooperative in English classes. But they have
problems in finishing some comprehensive practice like introducing
something. They should be taught how to listen and how to introduce
the best time to visit a city. Teaching objectives 1. To master some effective listening skills like predicting and
grasping key information.
2. To recall some useful expressions about location, weather, festivals
activities.
3. To master how to recommend a city to visit in the best season. 4. To get information about more cities.
