一、教材解读与学情简析 (一)教材解读
本课是PEP教材五年级下第四单元 When is Easter? C Story time的内容。本课以音乐考试为主线,以学生的生活体验和认识为基础,紧密贴近学生的生活实际,语言材料真实具体,让学生乐学易学。文本结构为Practice makes perfect. Will you come to the party/play football/... with me ? I want to practise
my song. I need more practice. I'll go swimming tonight.整体上简洁而明晰。通过本课的学习,鼓励学生用Will you come to the party/play football/... with me ?的问答句来描述自己打算要做的事情,发展
学生语言综合运用能力。同时,借助swimming contest让学生自由选择不同的结局并参与设计相关活动,提升学生的语言综合运用能力,并体验学生学习所带来的乐趣和成就感。
(二)学情简析
本节课的教学对象是五年级的学生。五年级学生已学习英语两年多,在英语听说读写方面具有了一定能力。学生已在unit4中初步接触了一般将来时的用法,学生的这些前期的语言和知识的积累都可以被迁移和运用到这堂课中,成为这堂课设计起点。本课在通过滚动复习一般将来时 句型及Will you...的问答句的基础上,建构起学生新的知识。所以,我们要使学生在本课中利用所学单词及句型进一步感悟,巩固并强化其句式。
二、教学目标与重难点 (一)教学目标:
1、知识目标:
学生能够在图片和教师的帮助下,理解故事内容,复习与巩固关于日期的表达方式(尤其是序数词的用法)以及句型:The singing test will be on May 4th. I can't... I want to...等,同时扩展学习新句型Practice makes perfect. Will you come to the party/play football/... with me ? I want to practise my song. I need more practice. I'll go swimming tonight等,增加学生语言的输入;
2、能力目标:
学生能够理解并朗读故事,掌握基本的阅读策略;
3、情感目标:
学生能够理解并表演故事,还能在语境中恰当运用故事中的语言。 同时在故事语境中,通过zoom专心刻苦练习并最终在不擅长的唱歌考试中得到音乐老师称赞的经历,发散学生思维,让学生了解英语谚语“Practice makes perfect.”的深刻含义
(二)教学重难点

1.能够掌握关于日期的表达方式(尤其是序数词的用法)以及句型,并灵活运用到语境中。 2.能够理解、朗读、表演故事并内化故事内容,了解英语谚语“Practice makes perfect.”的深刻含义。 【难点】
能够把本课的词汇、句型运用到具体的语境中。

1.Game time:
Teacher will ask pupils some questions. If they really can do it, stand up, do the actions and say, “Yes, of course.” If they can’t do it, just sit there, do the actions and say, “Sorry, I can’t.”

观察故事图片,从故事文本、图片资源的角度得到一些信息:Zoom最后可以唱得很好。图5告诉我们老师和朋友们都表扬了Zoom。充分感知和利用了文本的图片资源,也提示学生可以尽可能的在阅读过程中学会观察、学习。
在整体感知文本之前,让学生进行预测、判断。从而带着问题有目的的感知文本,得到答案。
整体感知文本的梗概,得出Zoom最后能唱得好是因为他勤于练习。

2) Listen to the tape (text 2-4), and answer the question. 3) Analyze the words: practise / practice They have the same meaning. But one is verb. The other one is noun. 4)If you are Zoom. Will you play with Rabbit /Zip /Cat? What will you say? 5.Read, underline, match and act 1) What will zoom’s friend invite him to do?

六、教学反思
本课的教学基本能完成教学任务,收到预期的目标。但是,通过这堂课,不难发现以下问题:一直以来,教师对学生的口语交际能力重视程度不够。
《英语课程标准》明确指出,教师应注意处理好知识学习与能力发展的关系,应注重语言实践,培养学生的语言运用能力。纵观我们的课堂不难发现,年段越高,学生不敢说、不愿说的人数越多。如何从我们的课堂入手改变现状,抓住学生语言能力发展的关键期,提升其口语交际能力呢?我将从以下几个方面进行完善:
一、找准切入点,巧妙导入
导入是课堂教学的重要环节。精心设计的导入,能抓住学生的心弦,立疑激趣,能促成学生情绪高涨,步入智力兴奋的状态,从而获得良好的学习效果。
这堂课的导入简洁明了,唤起所学旧知,并引导学生用 Yes, of course./Sorry, I can’t.表达并判断自己所能做的事。这样的句型提问,不仅激活了旧知,为下面的学习活动做好知识上的铺垫,而且培养了学生的听力和口头表达能力。本人根据实际需要和学生现有的认知水平搭建起来的支架,为学生营造了轻松的英语学习氛围。
二、借助关键词,掀起脑力风暴
“脑力风暴”深受高年级学生的喜爱,它不仅能激活学生的思维,让所学知识在他们的脑海中快速闪现,还能激发学生的热情。大家踊跃发言,互相感染,联想和发散思维能力在不知不觉中得到了提高。
本课中,深入剖析:If you are Zoom’s friends, What will you invite him to do?让学生学会主动学习,充分尊重学生的主体地位,学会思考和拓展思维。学生活跃思维,脑洞大开,运用Will you...with me?和所学的各种动词,不断猜测Zoom的朋友会邀请其做些什么。通过Zoom的不断拒绝,让学生自主总结,得出结论,Practice makes perfect.这种脑力风暴式的对话表演。为下面的对话学习做了充分准备,而且还激发了学生开口说英语的兴趣,可谓一举两得。
三、围绕主题,活化教材
语言不是“学会”的而是“用会”的。就语言学习而言,五彩缤纷的生活即是语言的源头,又是运用语言的沃土。只有在实际运用中学到的语言,才是真正的活的语言。如果缺少真实的生活实践,那么我们从书本和课堂上学到的语言就会枯燥、抽象、不易掌握,而且极容易因为缺少运用而使已经掌握的语言知识也逐渐变得生疏。因此,围绕教学主题设计的talk能活化教材,让课堂呈现生机和活力。
本人让学生观看“微电影”,“熟能生巧2”,引发学生思考,在这个结尾中,Zoom 会如何鼓励Cat?让学生兴趣盎然的观看。同时,学生扮演的各种角色,激发他们表演的欲望。
把“续编”故事的主动权交给学生,让他们进行主动思考,激发创新思维的能力。小组合作,把Cat每天勤于练习游泳的环节引入其中,让学生进行创编并演绎不同的结局。
语言的学习重在表达和运用,在本课中,本人主要通过对话、表演,培养学生的表达能力,学习的内容因而变得更加有效,语言学习因实际运用而绽放出生命的活力。
