Teaching Goals:1.Students will be able to aurally understand ,orally use ,recognize and spell the following
vocabulary : love,travel,interesting,place
2.Students will be able to recognize ,understand and use the sentence:I love to travel. There are many interesting places in Beijing.
Moral Education Goal:Guide students to love the beautiful places and our hometown.
2学情分析
五年级的学生已经掌握一些常用的英语基础知识,并且具有合作学习及独立学习的意识;大部分同学的口语表达能力较好,但是个别的同学还需教师的鼓励引导。
3重点难点
教学重点:1.本课重点词汇love,travel,interesting,place,句型 I love to travel.There are many interesting places in
Beijing. 2.情感教育的渗透。
教学难点:用英语表达自己的旅游计划和其他省份优美的景点。

4.1第一学时
4.1.1教学活动
活动1【导入】Lead in
1.Greeting. Sing the song "Good morning " to greet the students.
2.Let two students act out a joke about parrots ,let others know more English and begin to learn English in a good atmosphere.
3.PPT shows a picture of Tian'anmen Square and leads in new lesson.
活动2【活动】Warm up
Talk about Beijing.
PPT shows the questions and pictures about Beijing,let the students ask and answer in pairs,
meanwhile , let them enjoy the good places in Beijing.
活动3【讲授】Presentation
1.Let students read Part 1 with questions,then answer the questions.Check the understanding from the students about the new lesson.
2.Let the students listen to the tape of Part 1,pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
3.Let the students read Part 1 in groups,make sure every one can read the text well .Guide the students to help each other,develope their team-working spirit.
4.Reading show. From this step ,teacher can know if someone can read the text well or not.Teacher
writes the main sentences on the blackboard and emphsize the main words and sentences learning.Let students make sentences with the main words.
活动4【练习】Practice
Let's do it.Finish the sentences with the main words .Check the main words grasping.

Pair work .Ask and answer.
Let the students use English to talk about their travelling plan and beautiful places in English.
1.Teacher does a model with one student for others.
2.Groups work with the questions:Do you want to travel ?Where do you want to go? Who do you want to go with?Are there any interesting places there? What are they?
3.Group working show.
活动6【测试】Consolidation and extention
1.Let the students finish the passage reading about a trip to Beijing.
2.Guide the students to ask the questions about passage.
3.Tick or cross.Check the understanding about the passage.
4.Let the students judge one by one.
活动7【作业】Homework
Find out interesting places in Baiyin.Take pictures.Try to say the names in English.
