II. Teaching aims and learning objectives.
1、能熟练掌握本单元有关体育运动的词汇和重点句型I can… Can you…? Yes, I can. /No, I can’t. 并运用于日常真实语言情境下。 2、能了解会读辅音字母f的发音。
3、能熟练唱出歌谣:I can skate and I can jump并创编新的歌曲。 4、培养学生运动的意识。

1、句型:Can you…? 及其回答Yes, I can. /No, I can’t。 2、能说出辅音字母f在单词中的发音。 3、能熟练唱出歌谣:I can skate and I can jump。
IV. Teaching procedures.
Step1. Greeting and warming-up. 1. Enjoy a video about the sports meeting.
(设计意图:通过呈现精彩的运动会照片,既活跃课堂气氛,又铺垫本节课的主线—运动会。)
2. T: What do you know about the sports meeting? S: 运动项目、吉祥物、会歌、运动员... T: What can you do in the sports meeting? S: I can... T: Can you...? S: Yes, I can.

T: Who’s that? Oh, it’s the mascot of the sports meeting.
(设计意图: 通过开放性的设计,让孩子说说关于运动会知道些什么来导入课堂,简单直接地引出主题。通过运动会这一情境线,激发学生们的学习兴趣,从而能够更好地开展接下来的课堂活动。并在谈论其中的运动项目这一方面,让学生复习回顾本单元已经学习的有关运动项目的单词,激活了原有的知识储备。)
Step2 Presentation 1. Sound time
T: Do you want to know him? Let’s play a game “Bingo”. 快速回答几个关于Mascot的问题 Here’s a chant. Listen. T: What can you find? S: They all have the letter ‘ f ’.
(1)How to pronounce the letter ‘ f ’? Let’s listen to the right pronunciation. 观看视频。
(2)Can you read these words? (3)Can you read the new words?
(4)Can you say more words with the letter ‘f’? (5)I can make a sentence. (出示书上句子) (6)Can you make some sentences?
(设计意图:学生探索新知的欲望非常强烈,通过呈现可爱的吉祥物Fox的自我介绍引入Sound time的学习,生动有趣,让他们带着强烈的好奇心和浓厚的学习兴趣,积极主动地开始新知识的学习。通过观看国际音标的视频,让学生更加直观立体的了解到字母F的发音,起到示范效果。)
2. Song time
T:Oh, the fox can sing. What can he sing? He can sing the song of the sports meeting.

Today we’ll have a challenge show. “会歌好声音”
改编歌词,小组试唱,然后一位学生上台展示,其他人做评委,选出最美 歌声奖、最佳创意奖、最佳表演奖。
(设计意图:歌曲环节使学生感到轻松,愉快,满足,产生兴奋情绪,在明快优美的旋律中,不仅巩固了学习内容,又调动了学生的学习兴趣。在学唱歌曲以后,学生通过同桌合作,创编新的歌曲,并以“会歌好声音”的形式让学生展示,激发了学生的参与热情。) 3. Fun time

Step3 Consolidation Let’s join the sports meeting! 1. Fill your Sports Entry Form 2. Work in groups
Fill in the form, introduce in groups, then choose two sportsmen.
(设计意图:此环节是糅合了本课时所有重点词汇句型的综合语言输出,学生先问答,再填写自己的报名表,并介绍自己及组员的信息。通过选拔运动员这一情景创设,让学生学会在实际生活中灵活运用本节课知识来展现自己。学生的听说读写四方面能力在此得到了综合运用。)
V. Homework
1. Find more words with the letter ‘f’.
2. Try to introduce what your friend/family can or can’t do. You can write in the funny way.
