4.1第一学时
4.1.1教学活动
活动1【讲授】Step1 Presentation and Practice
1. Teacher introduces the title: Module 6 Unit 1 I went there last year.
2. Let Ss listen to the dialogue and pay attention to the new words in red. Let students firstly feel and know what the dialogue is about.
3. Teacher teaches the new words:①T introduces the new words one by one.②Read the words. ③Match the Chinese.④ Read together.
4. Ppt shows the dialogue 1, T asks a question: Does Ms Smart want to see Lingling’s photo? (Read out the sentences.)
5. Ppt shows the map of China,  then T shows Mongolia, Jiangsu, Qinghai and Hainan on the map, T introduces the short dialogue and practice it. At the meanwhile, T introduces and teaches the directions: north/in the north of, east/in the east of, west/in the west of, south/in the south of.
A: Where did you go for the holidays?
B: I went to…
A: Where is …?
B: It’s in the north/south/east/west of China.
6. Practice:
A: Ppt shows Mongolia, Shanghai, Xinjiang and Shenzhen, let students practice: This is…, It’s in the north/east/west/south of China.
B: Ppt shows the map of Henan, let students practice again.
7. Listne to the dialogue 2, let students find the answer:
A: Where did Lingling go? And where is it?( Read these sentences.)
B: Did Lingling go with her parents? Which sentence can tell you? (Read these sentences.)
 C: Did Lingling just go to see the beautiful Xinjiang?
How do you know? (Read the sentence.)
 8. Ppt shows the photos of Lingling, let students read the dialogue3 to find out:
A:  where is it? who are they? Read these sentences.
B: Does Ms Smart know her uncle? How do you know? (Read the sentences.)
9. Read in roles
活动2【活动】Step2 consolidation
1. T shows some photos of travelling and a short passages:
In July, I went to Zhangjiakou_with my family. It’s in the north of China. We went to the grassland and saw some horses. They were cool . I took many photos. I had a lovely time.
2. T hands out each group a peace of paper of the passage, let students talk about there travelling first, then write one on the paper. 
活动3【活动】Step3 Expandation
1. Ppt shows a vedio of Xinjiang.
2. Writing: Xinjiang in my eyes.
T asks some questions to introduce the phrases:
grasslands      horses running on the grasslands
lakes           swans swimming in the laks
mountains       mountains with snows
deserts         car lovers racing in the deserts
Then T uses “ I went to…” and “ I saw…” to match these phrases together to be a passages.
活动4【活动】Step4 Rethink after travelling 
T shows some bad things what people do during travelling , then T teaches Ss what and how to do when we travel.
活动5【作业】Step 5  Homework
1. Read the dialogue again and again, try to recite it.
2.Talk about your travelling before with your  partner.
