学情分析
五年级的学生学习英语已两年半有余,具备一定的英语基础同时有一定的自学和合作学习的能力,课堂活动参与性强。如表达时间的数字1到12已经全部掌握;整点和半点的表达法也在本模块Unit1里已经掌握;还有对于“will”表示将来行为的知识点也已经熟悉。有了前面的知识基础,再学习用“past",“to”和“a quarter”表达时间就比较容易接受。 一.教学目标 知识与技能
1.能熟练认读并理解本课生词quarter, to, worry;
2. .能掌握各种时间的英语表达方式 , 熟练运用a quarter to/past…
3.能够理解What time will you be home? Will you be at home at seven o’clock? 会说I’ll be home at seven o’clock.以及类似的句子 情感态度与价值观
本节课以时间为主线贯穿始终来教学,让学生了解时间的宝贵,学会珍惜时间和合理安排时间,养成准时守时的好习惯,做一个守时的人。
二.教学重点难点
重点:1. 生词quarter to worry
2.时间的几种不同的表达方式:整点:at eight o’clock 半点:at half past eight
几点差(过)一刻 a quarter to/past … 3. will be 句式变化
难点:一般现在时第三人称单数表达法和 will be 句型。
三.教学方法
本课运用情景教学法、视听法、听说法和任务教学法进行教学。

多媒体教室、PPT课件、卡片等
五.教学过程
Step1 Warming up 1、Greetings
T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you. ?
T: What’s the weather like today?
(设计意图:通过师生间的相互问候、交流,拉近师生距离,营造宽松的学习氛围。 )
2.Sing the song 《What time is it now?》 Ask the questions: What’s the song about?
How many hours/minutes are there in a day/an hour?引出关键词time
(设计意图:在唱歌的过程中复习时间的基本表达法,调动学生的学习兴趣。) 3.Free talk.
T:Every motning I get up at 6:30,then I wash my face and brush my teeth.so I go to work at 7:00.How about your parents? Ss:M y father/mother gets upat …… T: so your father is very busy.
(设计意图:复习旧知,让孩子理解爸妈的辛苦,为后面的拓展运用做好铺垫) 4.Let’s chant. Step2 Lead in
1. T: Wow ,our parents are very busy and harding-working.You know I ‘m a teather.I’m busy too.so I’ll get up at6:00tomorrow moning,What time will you get up? Ss:I’ll…..
T:If you get up a8:00,How will you be?
(设计意图:通过一个假设问题让学生讨论,引出Daming迟到,让学生明白做事情准时的重要性)
2.Let’s watch the cartoon,think about “What’s woring with Daming?” 3.Look at the picture,answer the question “What time does Daming get up?” Ss:He gets up at a quarter to eight.
(设计意图:板书本课生词并示范其发音。quarter 以及… quarter to/past…的表达,并出示几张时间让学生操练。)
4.Listen and repeat,and then answer the questions. 1). What time does school start? 2).Will he be late?
Step3 Presentating and practising new contents 1.Ask some questions and discuss
T: Why is Daming late for school? Is it a good habbit?

(设计意图:通过一系列问题引导学生自己理解并感悟出:守时是一个好习惯,同时用Mr Smart 是否也会迟到来引入主题对话。) 2.Watch the cartoon and answer the questions. 1).Will Mr Smart be late? 2). Why is Mr Smart so happy?
(设计意图: 学生通过听视频整体感知语言,带着任务把握文章大意,培养自学能力,体现学科性)
3. T:What will his family do for him?
4.Listen and repeat,then answer the questions 1).What time will Mr Smart be home?
2).How many times do they call Mr Smart?
5.Read the dialogue together. T:Underline the sentences with “will” on your book and practice it one by one. (设计意图:操练句式,加强学生对知识的理解与掌握。)
6.Retell the dialogue and act it out. T lead Ss to finish the guiding picture

(设计意图:帮助学生加深对文本的理解,同时,让学生有意识的模仿语音语调。提高学生的兴趣。 ) Step4 Extention
1.Watch the vedio about Mr Smart’s schedule Answer the two questions 1).What does Mr Smart do? 2).Where does he live? 2. Finish Mr Smart's schedule
Ask Some Ss to ask andMr Smart answers. 1. Retell Mr Smart’s schedule.(pairwork)
T:Please talk about Mr Smart’s schedule with your parter and write it on your paper.
(设计意图:通过学生与Mr Smart的对话,极大的提高学生的兴趣,以及对本节课知识的一个拓展和巩固) Make your schedule or holiday plan.
T:Mr Smart says that he doesn’t like to be late for things,so he likes to make a plan.It’s very important for us to make a plan.please make your own plan.
(设计意图:巩固所学知识的运用,一般将来时与时间的结合使用,同时综合性和难度又有所提升。)
