本课参与学习的为五年级学生。五年级学生活泼可爱,思维活跃,大部分从三年级开始正式接触英语学习,已经有了两年半的英语学习基础,积累了一定的词汇量,其中就有与本课相关的行为动词。并且大部分同学已经培养了一定的语感基础,对英语学习有初步的信心和兴趣。因此,在了解了学生的学习心理和知识基础的情况下,进行有趣高效的教学设计,一定会有精彩的呈现,给学生愉快的学习体验。

4.1 第一学时
4.1.1warm up 评论
Greet and group students.

4.1.2lead in the topic 评论
1. free talk about the little animals.
2. show some pictures of the animals at home, review the verbs.

4.1.3presentation 评论
1. create the second situation of language learning, the zoo. Let students look at the pictures of the zoo, observe the animals’ activities, begin to feel the progressive aspect.
2. let students watch some parts of the cartoons. Look at the animals’ activities and learn to say them correctly.

2. enjoy some photos of your classmates, and choose at least 3 of them , discuss in groups of 4,and describe them with the progressive aspect.
