一、 设计思路 1.设计理念
英语课堂要面向全体学生,给不同程度的学生提供参与课堂的机会。采用任务型教学法,学生在完成任务的过程中逐渐生成知识并形成技能,充分体现学生的主体地位和老师的主导作用。整个教学过程始终贯穿培养学生的听、说、读、写能力,从而提高学生的阅读能力和应用语言的能力。 2.教材分析
这是一节阅读课,介绍中国著名的农业科学家袁隆平的生平和杂交水稻,帮助学生更深刻地理解袁隆平的高尚品格。并学习人物传记类文章的写法以及介绍人物的常用表达。通过相互讨论,掌握如何使用常用句型表达自己的思想并且介绍袁隆平。阅读课属于语言的输入,这对语言的输出如speaking and writing有重要的作用。 3.学情分析
作为高一学生,他们富有创造力拥有自己的想法,也具备了一定的限时阅读技巧,但是一些学生缺乏自信,在表达自己的观点和小组交流中仍然有困难。所以在课堂吸引学生阅读的兴趣是关键,同时需要鼓励他们养成好的阅读习惯。让全体学生都有机会参与到课堂活动中来。 二、教学目标
1.Knowledge and skills :
A. learn how to describe Dr Yuan including his personality.
B. Improve the students’ reading ability by skimming and scanning. 2.Process and Strategies:
A. Skimming and scanning to understand the passage better. B. Discussing in groups to express their own ideas。 3.Emotion and Assessment :
Help students make up their minds to make contributions to their motherland in the future like Dr Yuan.
4. Modern teaching aids:现代教学手段
A tape recorder, a projector and a computer, PowerPoint files. 三、教学重点与难点
1. Teaching important points:
A. Help the students to grasp the main idea of the text.
B. Help students to use some reading strategies such as guessing, key sentences, skimming ,scanning. 2. Teaching difficult points
How to help students to describe Yuan Longping in their own words.

四、教学准备
1、教学背景:阅读课文,掌握语言知识和文章结构特点,利用多媒体资源,使学生完成从语言输入,训练到语言输出的过程。
2、整合思路:了解袁隆平的个人信息是课文的重点,采用简历的形式鼓励学生小组合作完成阅读任务。在读后的拓展部分采用讨论的形式分析人物的品格并以采访形式介绍袁隆平培养学生的创造性思维与口头表达能力。
3、教学设计:导课→预测→速读→细读→课堂检测→讨论与展示→课堂小结→板书 4、参考资料: 教材,教参,《英语周报》,多媒体教学光盘,《英语教师网》。 五、教学过程
Step1 :Lead-in(2mins) Guess: Who is he ?
1.He is the father of hybrid rice (杂交水稻之父).
2.He was awarded the winner of the Top Ten People Who moved China(感动中国十大人物) in 2004.
3. China can feed 22%of the world’s people from just 7% of the farmland .He plays an important part in Chinese agriculture.
Purpose of my design:
To catch students’ attention about the class and arouse their interest in the topic. Step2:Prediction (1 min) 难度:★ Class work
Skim the title and the picture on page10 to guess the main idea of this passage. 1.Who is the pioneer? And What’s the meaning of the title? 2.What’s the passage mainly about? _____ A. a farmer named Yuan Longping
B. how Yuan Longping became rich and famous
C. an agricultural pioneer named Yuan Longping who worked hard to produce a new kind of rice

六、教学反思
这节阅读课主要介绍了著名科学家袁隆平和他的杂交水稻,了解袁隆平的生平和成就并学习他高尚的人格。在这一节阅读课上,学生的热情高,基本上能够大胆发言,积极参与课堂上的各个活动。基本上体现了学生的主体地位,使课堂成为学生展示的舞台。反思这节阅读课,我感触颇深,有成功之处同时也有不足还需要改进。
成功之处:
1.创设情境导课,精彩的开始,快速吸引了学生的注意力和学习的兴趣。运用多媒体展示了2004年感动中国十大人物的图片并给出袁隆平的重要信息,以猜猜他是谁的游戏方式调动了学生的求知欲望,创造了愉快的学习氛围。
2.在阅读课的设计理念上,我紧扣现在高考题型设置。在进行快速阅读时候,我采用整体语言教学法,指导学生通过文章的标题和图片猜测文章的主要内容,我设计成单选题,学生基本上都能快速选出正确答案。在总结各段的段落大意时候,我主要采用了在各段找关键词和中心句的办法。并把文章的结构设计成高考的新题型---阅读七选五,这比连线题要增加了难度,但是学生觉得很新颖也愿意挑战自己。

3.在理清本篇文章的结构后,为接下来的细节处理打下基础。本文的重点是了解袁隆平的个人信息,为了吸引同学并加深理解,我将课后的第一题设计成简历的形式,学生觉得新颖,都能积极参加到小组合作中共同完成简历。 存在的问题:
1.速读部分为限时阅读训练,个别学生还是喜欢逐句读,缺乏找关键词和中心句的技巧,导致规定时间内没有完成速读任务。
2.在小组讨论中学生使用汉语交流多,只有一部分学生能做到用简单的的英语词汇和句子交流。在运用英语表达和交流上还需要在对学生进行指导。
3.阅读部分停留在reading for information较多,而缺少reading for thinking and using,深度不够。如在找出袁隆平的hobbies之后应引发学生思考why,再可引出他的个性特征,而不是简单的找出文中提到的信息。
通过反思我深刻认识到课堂教学设计,必须要针对学生的特点,合理布局巧妙构思。留给学生更多的自主时间与空间,充分发挥学生的主体地位,不仅要获取阅读信息还应培养他们创造性思维和运用英语的能力。根据真实的教学环境和学生状况,教师要不断提高教学应变能力,调整教学方法,充分调动学生的积极性,确保每一位学生都能有所收获。
