教材分析
“More ways to combine sentences”是高中英语语法与词汇第14单元的内容，本堂课是第二课时，在结合教材知识点与延展运用的基础上提炼“How to polish the
sentences”向学生重点讲授整合句子、润色句子。本次教学以Beyond《光辉岁月》引入对曼德拉维护和平的话题描述，以此为语境帮助学生掌握并列句、状语从句、定语从句、非谓语做定语和状语、强调句和倒装句等5种润色句子的方法，并与生活实践相结合进行综合运用。
学情分析
1.知识基础：学生已掌握一定的句子构成的语法基础和词汇储备知识，能够参与本课“描述曼德拉”话题的展开，以及进行句子的整合与润色活动。
2.心理及技能特点：以分组PK赛“破冰”和“团建”更利于学生参与积极性和课堂
活跃度，结合生活实际学以致用更有利于语言输出和巩固技能。
3.学习需求：句子的整合在日常交际和写作中使用频度非常高，但学生们对整合润色句子的需求以及技能掌握的欠缺构成了本课的迫切需要，对于提升句子的丰满度和写作的质感具有极大的帮助。 教学目标

教学反思
一、取得的成效
（一）营造了积极学习的氛围。通过多媒体教学方式，从广受学生喜爱的流行乐队BEYOND《光辉岁月》引入unit5学生熟悉的伟人——纳尔逊·曼德拉，通过分组竞赛的开放性教学，采用了积极的激励方式和评价方式，将学生置于愉悦的情境中学习，学生在课堂上表现相当踊跃，整堂课保持了高度的学习激情，全员参与
到讨论学习中，学生的音乐、社交、价值观等非智力因素得到了发展。
（二）强化了润色句子的方法。通过发挥学生的主体性、能动性，让学生自主式、创造式学习，提升了学生的学习能力，达到了“授人以渔”的目的。同时，在授课过程中考虑因人施教的问题，注重引导思考和正确指导。
（三）激发了小组合作的精神。本节课共设计了七个环节，其中有individual work, group work, class work。做到了还课堂给学生，以学生为主体，使学生在活动中相互帮助、合作提升，并对小组荣誉产生责任和激情。

（四）提升了运用实践的能力。本节课以培养学生养成润色句子的意识和训练学生润色句子的能力为主题。围绕描写人物的话题，主题明确，话题贴近学生。同时还激发了学生对伟人的敬仰，使学生树立正确的榜样。
二、存在的不足
（一）对个体关注的不足。事后通过反思，对第六组个别反复举手参与答题的学生一直未点名答题，可能刺伤了该学生的积极性，应予以事后沟通补救。
（二）课前检查不够充分。课前未认真查看黑板笔，板书开始时不够显现。
