Warming up: Group work discussion: Who are these scientists? What should scientists do to prove a new idea in scientific research? Unit 1 Great Scientists---Reading Step1 Fast reading 1. Step3 Extra reading A Marie Curies, born in Poland in 1876, led a hard life as a girl. Her parents, both teachers, had small salaries and were quite poor, especially after her mother stopped teaching to raise five children and take care of her poor health. Marie's mother died when Marie was ten. When Marie was small, she showed great interest in science. She loved to study and hoped to become a scientist when she grew up. But her poor family couldn’t afford the fee to study any more. How could she study was a question in her mind. In order to continue her education, she smoothed away many difficulties and entered Paris University, where she lived a simple life and studied hard, so she graduated with the highest grades in her class. She did part time jobs and eat easy food. After graduation she was engaged in scientific research in Paris University. There she joined her research into an unknown phenomenon “radiation”. The Curies spent several years trying their best to find the element that produced radiation. Finally they succeeded in 1902. Marie Curie won two Nobel Prizes, one for physics in 1906, together with her husband; the other for chemistry herself in 1911. Madame Curie was a scientist of great achievement, and the first woman ever to be honored in the Nobel Prize history. 1. 教学效果反思及补救措施 | |||||
教学反思如下; 首先,课程设计基本符合阅读课的教学流程,逻辑清楚,环环相扣,还融合了联想教学和发散思维,能够让学生较为清晰地明确学习目标和中心思想。 其次,学生表现活跃,能够积极配合老师。对所学知识比较感兴趣,而且能够高效参与课堂。 值得改进的地方: 首先,老师给予学生阅读的时间相对较短,有些急于求成,导致个别学生没有挖掘到该文章的流程结构,应该铺垫更多的时间去思索。 其次,该课属于科学探究,过程比较复杂。如果加入思维导图,让学生通过自己动手标注和感知探究会更为直观感受科学家的探索过程。 最后,情感升华的部分,如果能让学生各抒己见的机会留足够的空间,教学的热度可能会更高。教学的输出会更饱满一些。 因此在今后的教学中一定要强化师生互动的环节,让学生更有发言权和主人翁意识。打造多读多思多看多言的课堂。我也将继续努力。 |
