一、教学目标 知识目标:
1)掌握11个单词(including, medal, attend, abroad, doctor, degree, whatever, amazing, will, victory, simply)和2个词组(once again, give up)
2)理解和体会because, so, so that引导的状语从句。 技能目标:
1)听:通过听力,获取与话题heroes有关的信息。
2)说:能够围绕heroes的话题进行交流,进行情景对话。
3)读:正确朗读对话,在朗读中体会句子的语意、学会正确的断句等。
情感态度与价值观目标:
增进学生对各个领域英雄人物的了解,学习这些模范人物身上所散发出的优良品质。提高对英语的学习兴趣,实现语言结构与运用能力的全面转型。参加各种英语活动,克服困难,在新环境中进一步树立准确的语言学习观.
二、教学重点和难点
重点:通过训练学生的听、说、读、写能力,掌握状语从句。 难点:正确运用because, so和so that引导状语从句。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
1. Show a video about a speech and talk about it. 2. Show some heroes’ pictures. Step 2 Present (Activity 1)

Step 3 Listen (Activity 2)
