3. 情感目标Talk about table manners for a formal western dinner party:
Take your napkin and put it on your lap.
When you start eating, you should keep the fork in your right hand. If you use your knife, then put the fork in your left hand.
It’s polite to eat up the food on your plate, so don’t take more food than you need.
You should speak quietly and smile a lot.
When you drink to somebody, you’d better raise your glass and take

only a sip.

Ⅳ. Teaching Reflection
根据新课标的要求，要让学生运用英语在真实的交流场景中体验

语言，这就要求教师在课堂中寻找与实际生活切入的话题，设置真实的生活情景，调动学生全身器官去感知语言；通过运用语言过程去促进学生理解和掌握该语言。
本节课选取了西方餐桌礼仪这一生动有趣的话题，文章以西方餐桌礼仪为中心，重点学习了相关词汇、词组；深一步讲解whether/ if 引导宾语从句用陈述句语序；让学生掌握如何利用英语描述西方餐桌礼仪。
本课的优势在于（1）本话题贴近实际生活，语言点可与实际生活相结合，易于引起学生的兴趣；（2）本课亮点一：利用之前学生录制的西方餐桌礼仪视频引入1a课文，图中为本校学生，容易吸引学生注意。视频将复杂难懂的课文，通过动作展现给学生；（3）本课亮点二：学生在复述课文时，让学生动手使用西方餐具，加深学生对于课文的理解。本课待提高之处：（1）学生在复述课文时，针对不同能力的学生，设置明显目标梯度，让学生“跳一跳，够得着”才能增强学生学习英语的自信心；（2）whether/ if 宾语从句部分，练习数量欠佳，应该设置不同层次的题目让学生多加练习，扎实掌握该知识点。有待提高之处，还望提出宝贵意见。
