教材内容/学情分析:本节课是第八单元话题三的第一课时,是本册书最后一个话题的第一节课,主要活动是1a、2和3。将要学习如何正确使用一般现在时描述经常的或习惯性的动作和状态,还将以中西对比的方式引入中西方的几个重要节日及它们的风俗习惯和庆祝方式,让学生了解中西方文化的差异,正确看待外来文化并弘扬民族文化. 学习目标:
1能正确认读本课的22个新词汇 the Spring festival, dumpling, Christmas ,believe , full等 2.能够正确使用一般现在时描述经常的或习惯性的动作和状态--,如: They often eat turkey and Christmas cakes and give each other presents. 3.能初步了解并谈论中外一些重要节日及主要庆祝方式。
(1)Chinese people eat dumplings and perform lion and dragon dances. (2)Many people eat turkey and pumpkin pie.
4.能通过中外文化的对比,了解中外风俗文化的差异,加深对中国文化的理解,增强对民族文化的自豪感。 教学重点难点:
重点:1.能够熟练使用一般现在时描述经常的或习惯性的动作和状态;
2.能够运用庆祝节日等交际功能的基本表达法进行交流,学习中西方的重要节日及风俗习惯,了解中西方文化的差异。

教学反思及作业反馈: (1)存在问题:
新词汇量大而且部分单词比较难读,如lunar/Christmas/Christ,有些学生1a朗读不够准确、流利,交流不够顺畅。
(2)解决办法:
提前集中识词和课上情境识词相结合,课上多听多说,必要时候纠正发音错误。
