[设计理念]

[教材分析]
教学内容为新目标八年级下册第八单元Section B Reading. 学习内容主要体现在以下三点:
1. To personalize the target language and prepare students for the subsequent reading activity.
2. To provide scanning and writing practice with the target language.
3. To provide students with the opportunity to communicate about something they know.
[学生分析]
1、 利用多媒体课件上英语课,学生试听感受明显,表现出极大兴趣,在欣赏和享受中学习,学习效果明显。
2、 学习内容围绕音乐话题,学生兴趣浓厚,易于产生共鸣。
[教学目标]
By the end of the class, students will learn ---how to make notes
---how to find the main idea ---how to make a short report
[教学重难点]
1. 抓住要点复述原文。
2. 使用目标语言进行语言输出。

[教学步骤]
Step 1. Lead-in
T: Do you like music? S: Yes.
T: Do you have a favorite singer ? What do you know about him or her ? S: ( Free answers.)
T: Do you have a favorite song ? Can you sing it for us ?
设计目的:
以学生感兴趣的话题导入, 激发学生学习兴趣。
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Show a video of an English song . Introduce the background of country music. 2. Show two pictures to present new words. success, belong to, record, belong to, abroad

Step 3 While-reading
1. Skimming

3. Summarizing
Retell the story.
设计目的:
1. 通过设置不同的阅读任务,训练学生整体阅读和细节阅读能力。 2. 复述环节促进学生掌握目标语言。
Step 4 Post-reading
1. Show a short video.
2. Ask students to prepare a talk show. 3. Act.
设计目的:
以四人小组活动的形式,练习一个Talk show 形式的话题活动,运用目标语言进行语言输出。
Step 5 Further reading
Task 1. Give students a new passage. Find the key sentence of each paragraph. Task 2. Write an ending for this passage.
设计目的:
1. 巩固训练学生寻找关键信息的能力。 2. 训练写的能力。

Show students two sayings about music by Nietzsche and Einstein.
设计目的:
利用名人论述音乐的警句对学生进行文化品格培养。
Step 7 Homework
Write a passage about your favorite kind of music, songs or books.
设计目的:
以写作练习对本科目标语言进行巩固。
