教学目标
一.语言知识目标
1.词汇:shark,fin,endangered,ecosystem,environmental,protection,trade,cruel等。
2.词组:a bowl of, cut off, food chain, so far, no longer, at the top of等。
3.句型:This is not only cruel, but also harmful to the environment.
        The numbers of some kinds of sharks have fallen by over 90 percent in the last 20 to 30 years.
        So far, no scientific studies have shown that shark fins are good for health.
 
二. 技能目标: 能正确运用现在进行时,现在完成时,被动语态,情态动词和used to 句型。
     话题写作:How can we save the earth?
 
三.情感目标: 有环境危机意识,学会关注环境保护环境。
2学情分析
授课对象为九年级的学生,该阶段的学生思维力已得到迅速发展,并且抽象逻辑思维能力处于优势地位;在之前已接触过现在进行时、被动语态、情态动词和used to 句型的学习,有一定的知识基础;另外,该阶段的学生还善于表达自己的观点,对待问题有自己的思考和认知。但在书面表达上还存在一定的问题和劣势,因此,教师需要针对该方面进行更多的训练与提高。
3重点难点
1. 教学重点:(1)能正确运用现在进行时,现在完成时,被动语态,情态动词和used to 句型。
            (2)保护环境的措施方法。
2. 教学难点:能正确运用现在进行时,现在完成时,被动语态,情态动词和used to 句型。

引入该单元话题,唤起学生已有知识和经验

2.What do you know about sharks?
学生根据自身经验回答问题
