Analysis on teaching materials As the last period of this unit, it’s made up of three parts:Part A( Peter’s writing outline), Part B(a model letter
asking for help by Peter) and Part C(different kinds of people in
need and some useful expressions). All the three parts can help
students learn to organize their ideas before writing and complete a letter asking for help all by their own.
Analysis on learners Grade 8 students have learned some kinds of writing, but
it’s their first time to write a letter asking for help. It’s necessary
to guide them how to write the letter.
