一、教学目标
1.Knowledge Aims知识目标:
(1)掌握下列方位介词:next to, across from, in front of ,near, behind, between...and.... (2)熟练运用问路指路的简单句型: A: Is there a hospital near here?
B: Yes, there is. It’s … /No, there isn’t. A: Where is the hospital?
B: It’s on Bridge Street. It’s next to the police station. 2.Ability Aims能力目标:
能够运用本课学过的词汇、句型,在实际生活中能够用英语有礼貌地进行简单的问路、指路。 3.Emotional Aims:情感目标:通过有礼貌的问路、指路培养学生乐于助人的品质。 二、教学重点难点
1、Teaching importance教学重点:
(1) next to 、 across from 等几个介词。 (2) where 引导的特殊疑问句及回答。 2、教学难点:
能够运用所学知识在实际情景中问路、指路。 三、教学过程 I. Lead－in
Show some pictures . Review the words about places.
(设计意图: (1)展现地点图片,吸引学生的注意力, 充分调动了学生的学习积极性,激发学生的学习兴趣。(2)复习已学过的表示地点名称的单词及句子。) II.Presentation
(1.) Learn the prepositions and the new sentences : Where’s Lucky? He’s …
1. Show the pictures of the prepositions , go on learning the prepositions. (in, on, under, next to, behind, in front of, across from ,between … and ….) and the sentences:
(设计意图:利用小狗的叫声吸引学生的注意力, 引出Lucky，通过寻找Lucky学习新句型和表示位置关系的介词。)
2.Students read the new words and try to remember them in 1 minute,then do a word game. (设计意图：通过速记单词的读音及拼写，为单词游戏做准备。设计单词游戏，让学生对单词的读音、拼写及中文意思进一步熟悉及巩固。)
3. Pair work: Ask 1 student to make a conversation with the teacher as models,then each group practices the dialogue.
(设计意图:设置小组对话活动，让对新句型和表示位置关系的介词的学习输出为语言，以达到学以致用的目的。) (2)Work on 2a,2b. 1.Finish 2a.
(设计意图：利用平板电脑，把2a作为任务发送给学生，随机抽查，检测学生的掌握情况。)
2.Listen and finish 2b
( 听前指导,培养学生听力策略。提醒学生听前要浏览所给单词和句子中的关键信息，随机抽查6人来回答这6个小题，并给予鼓励，带动学生的积极性。) (3) Lead the students to ask and show the way .
1.Show a video about asking the way and showing the way.
(设计意图：以视频形式引出2d内容，让学生更有情景感。) 2. Students read the conversation by themselves,then read together.
(设计意图：先和搭档练习对话，再全班分男女齐读，为下一个环节做铺垫。) 3.Role-play.
Ask 1 studnt to make a conversation with the teacher as models,then each group practices the dialogue with their partner.
(设计意图:为学生创设出对话的真实情境,形象直观,充分调动了学生的参与热情,大大激发了学生的学习兴趣。学生通过该环节自主交流、讨论、合作等增强了彼此间的相互沟通、合作交流意识,突出了学习重点,突破了难点达成了本节课的目标——运用所学知识解决生活中的问题,达到了高潮。本环节面向全体学生,让每个孩子都有机会来操练知识;提高了学生的参与度,活跃了课堂气氛。同时有礼貌地问路、指路的情感教育也渗透于其中。) III.Summary
学生小组合作总结本节课所学的内容
Find out the sentences about polite expressions ,asking the way and showing the way.
(设计意图：通过学生自己寻找礼貌用语，问路和指路的句型，让学生对该内容印象更为深刻，再将这些总结的句型写在平板上，让同学互评，老师再做总结。) IV. Homework
根据老师设置的场景或是自创场景，跟搭档练习对话，并录制成视频上传。
(设计意图:开放性的课下作业可以让学生对所学的知识进行巩固和运用,从而达到学以致用的目的。)
