every day/once a week/twice a week/three times a week… However, she has some bad habits, too.
1.Be able to list one’s habits by using frequency words, link-words and linking sentences.
2.Be able to write a report about one’s habits.
1. Be able to find out the good way to write a report. 2. Be able to learn the spirit of holding on the truth.
3. Be expected to realize the importance of respecting others’ habits.
1. Can list the different habits like eating, study etc. 2. Can talk about and give a report of one’s habit.
3. Can write a report with frequency words, link-words and linking sentences.
1. Express the habits with the frequency words in order.
2. Try to add the link words and linking sentences in the composition.
3. Be happy to experience the whole procedure of writing a report as a reporter.

2. Show the ways to read a chant.

Before reading
1.Name the chant.
2.Discuss the definition of habits
★often do or like to do ★with or without thinking 3.Say out the frequency words: always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly ever, never, every day, 5-6times a week, once a week, twice a week.
4. Make the sentences with the frequency words.(Give an example)
★I drink milk every day…
5. Add linking sentences. ★I never drink milk because…
6.Think about habits teenagers have and choose one as the name of magazine. ( brainstorm)
7.Talk about two sides of habits.
★We have a lot of good habits…however, we have some bad habits...
8. Say out some link-words according to the simple pictures on blackboard

2. Give the answer:
Habits are the activities you often do without thinking.
3.Write the frequency words on Bb.
4. Show a picture of days in a year on PPT, and ask the Ss to make the sentence with frequency words. (eg. drinking milk) 5. Lead students add more information like reasons or results.
6.Ask the Ss to list different habits teenagers usually have.
7. Lead Ss to think two sides of habits.
8.Ask the Ss to think about more link-words (Draw some simple pictures on blackboard )

While Reading

Think about how to begin the report, from a chart or from a picture. 3.Read the beginning aloud and get the background information of the report. 4.Say out the good and bad habits of Jane according to the chart. 5. Read the body of the report and fill in the blanks. 6. Learn to use frequency words in right order
7. Read the report.
8.Detail reading and talk about the things we can learn from the report
9. Circle the link-words and underline the linking sentences.
10. Think more and try to make the example report much better.
11.Retell the report according the outline. 1. Show pictures of good /bad habits. Ask the students to talk about good and bad habits, Encourage Ss to add linking sentences. 2. Show the chart and the picture of a teenager. Ask the students to think about how to start a report. 3. Ask the students finish the chart of beginning.
4. Ask the Ss to say out the habits of Jane.
5. Ask the Ss to finish the body of the report.
6.Check the keys and ask the Ss to pay attention to the order of the frequency words. (either from low to high or high to low) 7. Walk around the

After Reading
1. Ask and answer with the interviewee. ( S1:Jane Ss: reporters) Chinese Teenager magazine 2. One student sit as the interviewee, the other four Ss go to another magazine to make an interview, then finish the question sheet. 3.Make an outline first, then finish a report.(The interviewees write his/her habits) 4. Write an outline and ask the interviewee to check if it is true. 5.Try to finish the report. Ask the other partner to check the report. 6. Hand in the report to the partner , the partner corrects it,then the leaders of each magazine announce the best one. 7. Show the magazine and hold on checking the reports. 8. Learn good writing habits from others. 1.Tell the Ss to keep the truth with the interview.
2. Explain the tasks.
3.walk around the classroom and offer the help, comment the conversation time.
4.Ask the Ss to keep the interview rules.
5. Play the light music and show the writing standards.
6.Encourage Ss to make a better report according to the writing standards.
7. Help comment if necessary.
8. Summary and give the reward to the winners.

2.在真实情景下全员走进采访现场。
3.体验团队采访并快速记录.
4.根据采访资料,整理成写作提纲, 请被采访者判断提纲是否真实。
