教学目标
1) To help students use target language.
2)To give students practice in listening for special items in conversations.
3)To provide scanning and writing practice with the target language ,
4)To provide comprehension and reading practice with the target language .
2学情分析
学生掌握英语的程度不一,另外,学生在情感态度,学习策略和文化意识方面还存在诸多需要进一步解决的问题。
3重点难点
教学重难点
1) Key vocabulary, 一般过去时态一般疑问句练习。
2) Talk about recent past events
 教学难点:
Talk about recent past events using the simple past tense.
 
4教学过程
4.1第一学时
4.1.1教学活动
活动1【讲授】【讲授】Unit 12 What did you do last weekend  Section 
Step1. Warming- up and revision(5mins)
Greeting .
Review the conversation on the big screen .  (复习上一节所学的对话,对一般过去时态进行复习,练习口语,对本节课热身。)
 
Step2: Presentation(10mins)
Show some pictures on the big screen ..(在大屏幕上展示出活动1a的图片,直接让学生在头脑中反映出该图片显示的信息,然后用一般过去时态卸载笔记本上,接下来再次看屏幕,找学生看图片说出该短语达到训练观察,写和说的能力。)
Talk about the activities in the pictures using What did he/ she/ do last weekend? let them answer with the verbs in past tense.(用问答的方式练习目标语言。)
Listen and remember. In 1c, have students listen and try to remember the answers . Write after the recording is finished . This will challenge Ss to memorize the most important details .(通过播放录音,对学生进行听力的训练,让学生在听的时候听关键词并把握文章的整体,对学生进行听力技巧的训练和培养)
 
Step3:practice the dialogues.(15mins)
In 2b , have Ss scan the passage for the answers to each sentence . As they scan  have Ss think about key words or phrases .Then answer questions.(阅读课文,根据所呈现的问题找到关键词,回答问题。培养学生的阅读技巧。)
In 2c, have Ss practice speaking more quickly and more slowly when storytelling for greater dramatic effect .(再次阅读文章,找到关键句,试着复述整片文章。)
Draw a picture to describe the article.(通过学习,引导学生和老师一起画出思维导图,回顾整片文章,在老师的带领下脱离书本简要的复述文章大意。训练学生总结概括和说的能力。)
 
Step4: Practice(10mins)
Do some exercises on the big screen . (设计一些习题,巩固所学的句式和语法。)
 
Step5: Summary and homework(5mins)
Use your words to describe Lisa ’s special weekend.(对整节课进行总结回顾并设置课后的作业。即用第三人称来转述整片文章,即达到了巩固所学知识的目的,又对学生的写作能力进行了训练。)
