教学目标
1. 知识目标: 对新单词race, nothing, cheetah以及动词过去式thought、felt、woke、trip的认读与理解。学生能在教师的引导下,听懂、理解、会读文本内容,并能完成课后阅读练习。
2. 能力目标: 了解一般过去式的基本构成,并能在情景中恰当运用句型以及相关词汇进行表达与运用。能结合生活实际,模仿课文文本,写一篇关于自己的梦的小语篇。
3. 情感态度、文化意识、学习策略目标: 通过Wu Yifan梦境中两次赛跑故事的学习,激发学习英语的热情与兴趣,并培养学生热爱生活的优秀品质。鼓励学生将自己的快乐或烦恼与父母分享。能够在语篇中捕捉不同类型的信息,提炼文章的主旨大意,并进行简单的推理。
2学情分析
本课内容选自第八册第四单元B部分Read and write,为此单元第五课时,是一节典型的读写课。单元话题围绕Then and now对比展开,学习有关人物今昔变化的语句。本课主要围绕Wu Yifan有趣的梦的故事进行系列读写训练,并感受故事阅读的快乐。
六年级学生已具备一定的词汇和语言基础,具有较强的模仿能力,能够通过听或读独立搜索语篇中的关键信息,且具备较为完整的英语语言组织能力,能够在教师指导下模仿篇章进行写作。学生通过六下第二、第三单元的学习,已对过去时的使用有初步的了解,能够在固定语境下使用过去时描述事件。对有趣的情境和活泼的课堂活动有较强积极性。
3重点难点
1. 教学重点:学生能在教师的引导下,听懂、理解、会读文本内容,并能完成课后阅读练习。
2. 教学难点:对新单词race, nothing, cheetah以及动词过去式thought、felt、woke、trip的认读与理解。并能结合自己的实际,模仿课文文本,记述一篇关于自己的一个梦的小语篇。

4.1.1教学活动
活动1【导入】Pre-reading
1. Greeting
How are you today?
2. Show some photos of the sports meet.
T: Can you remember something from these pictures?
(Enjoy some photos)
T: These are pictures of our sports meet last year. Did you enjoy it? That was so exciting.
① Who ran fast in our class last year?
② Who won the race last year?
T: Could you run fast? How did you feel?
T: Did you win the race? How did you feel?
---I’m sorry to hear that. But never mind. Do more exercises, I’m sure you will run fast someday.
(阅读前,通过欣赏几张去年学校运动会的照片为导入,老师和学生一起回忆去年运动会的情景,谈论一下班中哪位学生跑的快,谁赢得了比赛等等,在轻松、生活的师生回答中进入今天的学习主题,积极创设一个宽松和谐的学习氛围,也为之后的深入阅读做好扎实的铺垫。)
活动2【讲授】While-reading
1. The first race
(1) Show a picture of Wu Yifan.
T: Look at our friend Wu Yifan. How did he feel?
--- He felt worried.
T: He was worried. But why was he worried? Could you take a guess?
--- Maybe he was worried because ...
(阅读中,教师首先出示老朋友Wu Yifan的图片,从看表情猜心情、猜原因引出阅读文本第一段,孩子们立即被故事鲜艳、有趣、生动的图画和情节所吸引,点燃了英语学习的热情。)
(2) Play the video
T: It seems that everybody has good guesses. Why was he worried? Do you want to know? Let’s watch a video and find out.
(3) Make Ss listen and read along with the story. Then think about 3 questions.
Question 1 : What did he do?
Question 2 : Could he run fast?
Question 3 : What did he think?
(让学生带着问题细读文本,渗透一些阅读方法,从而进一步理解文本内容。)
①The 1st question: What did he do?
T: Look, this is a race. (have a race / had a race) --- Is this a race? No, it’s a match.
(race一词通过一系列丰富的图片来感知、理解,并与match进行对比,让孩子形象的对新词进行正确理解,使得学习变得轻松愉快。)
T: Wu Yifan had a race with whom?
T: By the way, can you see a lot of people there?
--- Yes, there were many people there. No wonder Wu Yifan was so worried, because many people were watching him.
②The 2ndquestion:Could he run fast?
T: Actually, he could not do anything to help him to run fast. So we say:
There was nothing he could do.
T: Now can you tell me together, Could he run fast? ( answer together)
③The 3rd question: What did he think?
T: Listen carefully, try to imitate.
(听音模仿是小学生训练语音语调、强化记忆、巩固练习的关键。)
(4) Make Ss listen and read “1st race” again.
(5) Make Ss discuss and retell the passage.
(教师通过板书的提示,自身的示范,帮助学生准确简洁的复述第一段文本。)
2. The second race
(1) Show a picture
T: There was a second race. Ah! What was going on? Who was in the race?
(2) Play the video
T: This time, how did he feel and why? Let’s find out in the video.
(3) Ask the questions
① T: How did he feel? And why?
② T: What is a cheetah?
(4) Play the video of the whole story.
(5) Make Ss retell the 2nd race.
(出示2nd race前巧妙设置悬念,充分利用多媒体视频、声音、图片等优势,制造出乎意料的效果,巧妙的引出第二段文本,激发学生带着超高的热情与参与积极性进一步学习。)
3. What happened in between?
(1) Show a new story.
T: I have got a good idea.
--- Wu Yifan had a race. In the first race, he was worried, because he could not run fast. Suddenly here came a powerful man---
Harry Potter. He said: “Drink this.” So he gave Wu Yifan some magic tea. Wu Yifan drank the tea. And suddenly he felt good. So in
the second race, he ran like a cheetah.
(2) Make Ss discuss in groups and try to make a new story.
(教师通过自己的充分想象——哈利波特的到来,创编一个新故事,以此衔接1st race 和2nd race。学生在老师的引导下,四人小组合作讨论,大胆进行新故事创编,课堂惊喜无限。)
(3) Play the real story
T: Look. Who is he? --- Robin. What’s in his hand?
(4) Make Ss read together
4. Make Ss enjoy the story again.
5. Show the ending.
T: Could Wu Yifan win the race at last?
(播放Wu Yifan摔倒的声音)
T: Ahh! What happened?
--- But suddenly he tripped and fell.
Oh, Poor Wu Yifan. He tripped and fell. How did he feel right now?
T: Where was he? Actually, it was all a dream.
6. Play the whole story.
(课件以故事播放形式进一步播放故事的有趣结尾,揭示课题:What a dream! 给课堂带来了无限意外与喜乐,这就是故事阅读的绝妙之处!)
活动3【练习】Post-reading
1. Give time to fill in the blanks.
T: Wu Yifan liked the dream very much. Now he is sharing the story to his mother. Please fill in the blanks.
2. Instruct Ss to write their own stories.
T: Did you have an interesting dream? Write several sentences about it. Then tell your dream to your partner.
3. Share the dreams.
(阅读后,通过填一填、说一说、想一想、写一写、议一议等练习,巩固对文本的理解,培养学生之间的合作能力,也提高了写作和表达能力。)
活动4【作业】Homework
1. Listen and read the story.
2. Tell your interesting dream to your parents.
(开放性、信息网络化的回家作业设计,引导学生养成课外巩固英语的习惯,把知识延伸至生活实践,锻炼学生在生活中运用语言的能力。)
