教学目标
1.学生能够听、说、认读本课词汇:pet ,speak,building,American,find out,more.
2.学生能够听、说、认读句型:I arrived here yesterday.Grandma and Cousin Simon met me at the airport.We took a yellow taxi to their home.there are lots of tall buildings,cars and people.I want to find out more about the US.
3.能用一般过去时描述自己的旅行经历。
2学情分析
一般现在时和一般过去时以前学过,但在本课中同时出现,要求学生同时灵活运用难度较大,根据学生的实际情况,在确定教学目标时,只要求学生会听、说、认读本课词汇和目标句型,能用一般过去时来描述自己的旅行经历。

1.会听、说、认读本课新单词和目标句型。
2..能用一般过去时描述自己的旅行经历。

4.1第一学时 Activities1-3
4.1.1教学目标
1.学生能够听、说、认读本课词汇:pet ,speak,building,American,find out,more.
2.学生能够听、说、认读句型:I arrived here yesterday.Grandma and Cousin Simon met me at the airport.We took a yellow taxi to their home.there are lots of tall buildings,cars and people.I want to find out more about the US.
3.能用一般过去时描述自己的旅行经历。
4.1.2学时重点
1.会听、说、认读本课新单词和目标句型。
2..能用一般过去时描述自己的旅行经历。
4.1.3学时难点
用一般过去时描述自己的旅行经历。

活动1【导入】Step 1 Warm up
1.Greetings.
2.The teacher and the students sing the song<<Where did you go?>> and do the actions together.
设计意图:这是一首用一般过去时描述去哪里游玩的歌曲,内容与本课重点密切相关。采用全身动作反应法,师生边唱边做动作,既营造了轻松愉快的课堂氛围,又拉近了师生的距离。
活动2【讲授】Step 2 Lead in
Show the travelling pictures,The teacher talk about her travelling to the students.
设计意图:通过出示教师自己的旅游图片来激发学生的学习兴趣,教师介绍自己的旅行经历,为突破本节课的难点奠定了基础。
T:Boys and girls,today we're going to learn a new lesson about travelling.
活动3【讲授】Step 3 New words learning
1.The creation of situational teaching new words.
The teacher raise a pen :
T:What's this?
Ss:It's a pen.
出示“pen”单词卡片,学生认读,然后把“pen”中的最后一个字母“”n"替换成“t”,让学生试着拼读生词“pet".
设计意图:采用替换法:改变一个字母,变成另一个单词,从而教会学生掌握学习、记忆英语单词方法。
Show a picture of a pet dog:
T:What's this?
Ss:It's a dog.
The teacher guide the students say:"This is a pet dog."
Show a picture of a parrat:
T:This is a pet bird. It's a clever bird.It can speak lot's of language.What language does it speak?Let's watch.
Pllay the flash of activity 1,have the students watch the flash and then answer the above question.
Ss:It speaks English.It speaks Chinese too.
Teach the new word:speak.
Show a picture of tall buildings.Teach the new word:building.
教师捂着肚子作饥饿状:
T:I'm hungry.I want some food.
Show a picture of Chinese food:
T:This is our Chinese food.We use chopsticks to eat.
Show a picture of American food:
T:What food is it?
Ss:It's American food.
Teach the new word:American.
T:In America,people use knives and forks to eat.Can you find out more about America?
Teach the new words:find out, more.
Show some pictures about America,have the students find out more about America.
设计意图:通过创设情境,很自然地引出新单词,将单词融入句中教学,做到词不离句。
2.Practice the new words.
(1) Show the word cards,have the students read role with rising and falling tone.
(2)The bomb game:教师出示生词卡片,学生以开火车形式认读单词,如果该生读对,全班就跟他读,如果读错,则被扔炸弹,读对的该生所在小组加1分。
设计意图:通过多种形式来检查学生对单词掌握情况,及时进行激励评价,培养学生竞争意识和集体荣誉精神。
活动4【讲授】Step 4 teach the text
1.Show the picture of the Statue of Liberty and ask"What's it?Where is it?"Guide the students say"It's the Statue of Liberty.It's in
New York."
T:Daming is in New York now.What did Daming do in New York?Let's listen.
2.Play the flash,have the students watch and listen.
3.Play the flash again,have the students listen to the tape with the following questions:
(1)Where is Daming now?
(2)When did Daming arrive there?
(3)Who met Daming at the airport?
(4)What did Daming see in New York?
(5)What food did Grangma make for Daming ?
(6)What food did Daming want to try?
4.Answer the questions.
5.Listen to the tape and repeat.
6.Get the students to circle the verbs past tense in the text.
7.Show the target sentence patterns and read them together.
设计意图:通过听录音,回答问题,初步感知课文内容,再听录音跟读,圈出文中动词过去式,齐读本课目标句型,抓住重点进行教学。
活动5【练习】Step 5 Practice
T:This text is a letter.How many paragraphs are there in this letter?
Ss:Three.
T:How many sentences are there in Paragraph 1\2\3?
Ss:Five.\Two.\Four.
1.Show the key words,have the students retell the text together.
2.Have the students retell the text in pairs.
3.Ask several students to retell the text.
设计意图:通过关键词提示的方法,将课文句段呈现出来,让学生更加容易地根据课文内容复述课文,体会课文语境,增强英语语感,从而使本节课的重点知识得到了加深巩固。
活动6【练习】Step 6 Production
Talk about your travelling.
1.The teacher talks about her travelling first.
2.Have students talk about their travelling in pairs.
3.Get several students to talk their travelling.
设计意图:教师先示范描述,让学生了解描述内容,然后让学生向同桌描述,分享他人旅行的乐趣,不仅锻炼了学生的口语表达能力,也增进了同学之间的友谊。
活动7【测试】Step 7 Summary

活动8【作业】Step 8 Homework
Must do:Read the text three times.
Choose to do:Talk about your travelling to your friend.
设计意图:作业设计照顾到不同层次的学生,有利于学生根据自己的实际情况完成学习任务。

4.2.1教学目标
1.学生掌握字母组合“wh,wr”的发音规则。
2.学生会唱本课歌曲。
3.学生能正确运用所学句型描述自己的旅行经历。
4.2.2学时重点
1.掌握字母组合“wh,wr”的发音规则。
2.会唱本课歌曲。
3.能正确运用所学句型描述自己的旅行经历。
4.2.3学时难点
能用一般将来时描述自己打算干的事。

活动1【导入】Step 1 Warming up

Listen tn and read the letter three times,then retell the letter according to the key words.
设计意图:通过齐说动词过去式,复习动词及过去式,为复述课文做了铺垫,根据关键词提示复述课文,降低了学习难度,有利于提高学生学习积极性。
活动2【讲授】Step 2 Presentation
1.Lieten and say.
学生看书,思考字母组合发了什么音。
2.Listen and read.
教师把音标板书出来,再次教读,并总结字母组合的发音规则。

设计意图:歌谣的教学,让学生感受到了英语的音乐美,激发他们学习英语的热情。

设计意图:学生总结自己学到的知识,教师点评补充,同时教育孩子在旅行时多计划,锻炼孩子按计划做事的习惯。
活动5【作业】Step 5 Homework
1.听歌曲多遍,达到会唱的程度。
2.把所列的清单说给爸爸妈妈听。
